Hey, I'm going to the Madrid show on Friday and have an early entry ticket (not VIP). If anyone had the same type of ticket for the Italy gigs, and made the front row, what time did you arrive please? Did everything go as planned in terms of there being dedicated staff to look after you and make sure you got in ahead of fans without early entry? Were there English-speaking staff on hand?

Registration begins at 4pm in Madrid, I think, but I'm trying to decide how early to get there  - earlier than 4pm, obviously, but presumably it's not necessary to queue from the early hours like you would normally?!? I've seen Lana live quite a few times now, but never with an early entry ticket ... so even though I appreciate a lot of it is down to pot luck on the day, I'd be really grateful for any advice anyone can give. Thank you!  :)

from my experience most people who queued the day/night before were early entry . There‘s no other vip queue that u need to keep in mind bc they‘re all seated.

Thanks Amadeus, appreciate the advice.

Any thoughts from anyone else who had early entry tickets for Milan or Rome please?

  • Staff will probably speak minimal English, you'll have to rely on people around you for help
  • I arrived at seven pm the day before in Milan and I was 12th
  • I arrived around eleven pm the day before in Rome and was 36th
  • The barrier isn't straight, the staircase is in the middle and has a "pool" that curves around the staircase as it's a long staircase.
  • This "pool" can ultimately hold around 20 people.
  • If you want a good spot, it'll have to be the day before.
  • Do not leave the queue after 12.
  • Do not leave the queue after 12.
  • It's messy, the queue probably won't start at the box office, but it will damn well get messy at the box office site. Trust me.
  • Once the box office opens, the process is actually really slow for getting tickets, don't feel as though you need to rush this bit.
  • People may not stay in order in the last queue (the queue is basically people that arrive early, then move to the box office, then move back to the original queuing place at the real line.
  • Security will either be really nice or really shit about the queue. So don't risk leaving early. If a toilet is far away from the venue (one was close in milan but far in rome) then don't leave the queue until you're in the final queue. It will fuck you over.
  • Don't take too much camping equipment unless you're prepared to bin it.
  • Do not leave the queue for more than two - two and a half hours. It's unfair and rude.
  • Check social media to see how many people have already arrived, I would maybe arrive even earlier for Spain because it might be a shitfest.

Basically - queuing with GA is to be as close to the front as possible. Queuing with VIP is to be as close to the centre as possible as that's where Lana is most likely to meet fans.

Thanks so much, @electra, that's really helpful. Did you have an early entry ticket for both shows? When you mention the "pool", are you talking about Palacio Vistalegre? Have you been there? Thanks again!

Yup, early entry standing for both and both were messy in their separate ways, by pool I mean the way the barrier is formed isn’t like other shows, instead of a straight barrier, there’s a semi-circle in the middle surrounding a long staircase that lana comes down. Although the barrier looked straight in Berlin, so it might have just been a milan/Rome thing

@electra, sorry, one thing I forgot to ask - do they just form one queue initially, regardless of what type of ticket you have? Or do they have separate lines for GA and early entry? Thanks again for all your help!

Hi, I didn’t go to Milan or Rome but maybe you’re something with the experience I had in Antwerp! We had a separate entrance, the GA were queuing on the other side of the venue. I arrived around 9 am and I was number 33, but I got a spot in the front row on the right side! Some people were there the day before around 11 am I think... We went inside around 4.30 pm to get the gifts and stuff, but then we had to wait outside again until 6 pm I think. The security was trying their best to let us respect the numbers, but the numbers were a fan thing so you still had some people who where there around 3 pm trying to get before you in the queue. I hope you can do something with this information!

Separate, idk if Livenation gave you a map of the venue like they did us, but there was one queue for GA by the GA door and one for VIP by the VIP door that was shown on the map, we were never really together with the GA.

@electra, thanks again - Lana really should employ you as an expert show guide! Yes, they did give us a map so I guess that’s one less problem.

@Readyforthegates, many thanks also for that really useful information. I can see how the whole numbering thing could go wrong! Were you right at the end of the right-hand side, or just between the centre and the end? I have sometimes found it better to be further over to one side, because she doesn’t always go straight for the centre.

I was not at the end, but I wasn’t in the centre either so it was a great spot :). She came down in the audience, but she went back on stage before she passed me. If she went a little bit further... haha. She didn’t do the left side, so I would go for a spot near the centre/ right hand side!

She always seems to go to the right (audience right, her left)

Yeah, I noticed that too! A very experienced fan who was close next to me, told me she also mostly uses the swing on the right hand side (audience right)

Yeah that’s the swing she used at my show. I feel bad at my show there was a group of fans who had camped out for longer than anyone else. But the were more to the left and she didn’t even come over to them at all. Yikes.

Clean, kind and organised seems about right - not only for this thread, but for the show itself. For the first time in my experience, the queue numbers were scrupulously observed. This was made possible by some very neat organisation by the people at the front, who went down the line and got everybody in the right order. We were then escorted in, calmly and quietly, in pairs. I’ve never known the queue for a Lana gig go off so smoothly - congratulations Madrilenos!!!
