Will you ever stop stanning Lana?

Recommended Posts

TBH I think I will always love her & her music. I might sometimes might not enjoy her personality 100% but she’s had such a huge impact in my life it’s hard to imagine not liking her. Although, I do have artists I enjoy as much as her. An example is Charli XCX! She’s also had a huge impact on my life. The only artist I love more than Lana is Janis Joplin!

I think about this sometimes. Maybe when I get so busy with work and a relationship or something like that I won't have too much time to check on news about her and stuff, but even then I'm sure I'll keep listening to everything she puts out dD8WJO1.gif

I'm pretty sure Lana is forever in my heart. She just can do no wrong with her music it's incredible. I can't picture myself ever forgetting her. Even when she's not releasing anything and isn't active at all, she still lingers in my mind (hence me staying so much on this website), she'll just be always there.

Probably never, I've loved her last few releases. LFL wasn't perfect but I don't dislike it, and while a lot of BTD has gotten tired to me I still appreciate the memories I have associated with each song. Meanwhile there are still some unreleased songs I haven't even listened to yet, so to me there's more to discover and fill in the gaps before the next album.

There aren't many artists whose whole discography I love, so she'll always have a special place in my heart... and music library lmao

I've been a serious fan of Lana longer than any other artist. Before Lana, I was really into Gaga, but that faded around 2013. I remember going to artrave a couple days after I saw Lana for the first time and I was like "eh - this would've been a much bigger deal 3 years ago". But with Lana's timeless imo. I don't think she's someone I'll ever mature out of/ move on from.

That's a great question.  Lana's first 3 albums (BTD, Paradise, and UV) had such a big impact on me, but with Honeymoon and Lust For Life, I found myself really trying to love them, but other than 3-4 songs on each, I never really connected with them.  I'm not really digging these two new singles either, so I'm really hoping the new album will bring back the masterpiece vibes from her early stuff, otherwise, she'll probably eventually just be an artist that I used to really love... and I'll stop really caring what she puts out next.  It's sad, really.  I'm rooting for her, but it seems like she's on a different wavelength now, and it may be no turning back.  We'll see!

I'll always have respect and a deep love for her because she's THAT bitch, 2011-2014 was THAT peak and there will never be a indie/pop girl to come close to what she has done with her artistry and as a gay I will always be in some degree a fan HOWEVER since LFL my excitement and anticipation for her art and new releases has waned and I don't feel that spark like before. If she continues to deliver unfulfilling uninspired visuals, boring pedestrian fashion non-moments and stagnant live performances and if NFR fails to deliver I'll probably demote myself from being a stan and just casually wait for something good   :lolliney:

I will never stop caring abour her personally, but music-wise, it depends heavily on how much I will end up liking NFR. I will always carry her writing and previous records with me no matter what.

Honestly for me, since Video Games, I don't really think I'd be able to stop caring. She's shared with us such beautiful perspectives, and I guess for me, I like sensing the pain of others when it comes to artists in particular, and I'm just glad that she's so clever about sharing hers with us.

Music wise, as long as the lyrical content and quality of sound is there, I'll always look her up. Annnnd seeing how even some of her demos are just jewels, I don't think I'd not be able to care tbh

I'd be kinda sad tho to hear a song of hers not have any feeling of soulfulness tho, not the genre, but just the Lana spiritedness she always seems to deliver.

We'll always have Video Games and Venice Bitch thoo

I think she will always be my absolute favorite singer, even when I'm old. I don't think I have ever felt more connected to an artist and their work like I have Lana. She's a siren and she always knows how to pull me in. Every song is like a safe haven for me and when all else fails, there is Lana and her fucking amazing music.

BTD is my fave album of all time so I will never stop caring. But ultimately if the music gets boring or bad then I won’t buy her music anymore full stop. I worry she will start having lots of rap and have a cheap generic music style like the other dull pop girls. I’m concerned because she’s shown a less classy side to her lately. More trashy, lyrically and personality wise. It started after she released Coachella/summer bummer etc I thought they were trashy and lyrically appalling and lazy. Then the hanging around with trashy rappers? Eww. The whole Azalea banks thing and the way she was like “pull up” while funny is really off putting - just really unintelligent and classless things to say. I used to see Lana as more of a mature artist, an intelligent female....but clearly she’s got a very trashy side to her underneath it all.
