I just feel her doing a theme song or having some kind of involvement in the upcoming movie feels perfect.

The film stars Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate and I can just imagine a song where Lana is singing in the imagination of Tate (ala Big Eyes).

(only a coincidence, but 'Heroin' mentions Charles Manson).

I'd so love that, but I don't really see her making music for movies anymore. It sort of feels like she lost interest in making music for stuff life that, but hopefully I'm wrong!

Would be great, im really looking forward to this movie. Once Upon A Time In America is probably the best movie i've ever seen and I know Tarantino is a big fan of it so it makes me wonder if it'll be made in a similar style given he's really named it after the Sergio Leone movies.

Once Upon a Time in America is a 1984 film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is named after it and other Leone movies (like Once Upon a Time in the West.)

It's a bit confusing. lol

I'd love to. I have a feeling that the snippet Honeymouns (the "oh mam') posted is from a trailer actually, at least it sounded just like that lol.

very unlikely. Tarantino rarely (if ever - i can't think of a single example) uses original music in his films, he usually picks already existing obscure-ish songs. and tbh i can't imagining him choosing songs from Lana's discog, he'll prob go for some niche psychedelic scene from the 60s or whatever.

qt is a hack not worthy of Lana's time and attention.

that said, the poster in post#13 makes an interesting point-

Perhaps he could take one of her songs like Born to Die or Video Games or Gods and Monsters and use that.  (QT never is exact with years in songs anyhow).

It would be cool though if through a back door like that Born to Die the Album got to #1.

(just remember though, Girl You'll be a woman soon wasn't sung by Neil Diamond in the movie itself, and it is just creepy when Neil sings it in recent times)

Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp

And the whole BTD album is an aesthetic

From one of her Insta post last year, it seems she recorded a song for a Disney movie...
