The only time I think it would be ok to have backing vocals for Venice is when she’s down with the crowd taking selfies and stuff. Like I’ve said before, I do believe she’s actually singing but it’s just the playback which is too loud and drowns her.

her backup dancers are so much more interesting to watch than she is and that’s a problem when it’s her fucking show. (i love ashley and alex and i don’t blame them for her lackluster performances, i’m glad they keep things lively while lana moans over the loud backing track)

 

 

The dancers dress the way Lana should be dressing. Look how beautiful they both looked with the bell bottom and hippie top they had on last night. Meanwhile Lana looked all grandma-ish. Even Chuck filmed the dancers last night. 

 

When the back up dancers are more interesting then the actual star of the show...

Agreed I can understand if she doesn't sing when she is in the crowd. Also if backing vocals are so loud its Lana's choice. She wants to BE the backing vocals

I know these are the kind of fans who thinks they should like agree and support everything she does. But this is not healthy.  Think about it there is a group where everyone agrees what you do. I killed somebody "oh that's so cool, sweet serial killer".( this is  bad example I know.) The point is everyone is human and everybody has mistakes. But if you don't tell someone that it's wrong they'll think that it's the good way. This is criticizing. Both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE criticize is important

It really is a «hit and miss» for me with this tour. She has had some moments (the title track, Bartender, For Free), but she also had not-so-great ones (not remembering the words to the songs from NFR?!?!). I saw her twice in the past, before the LATTM tour. I see her mostly as a recording artist. She did impress me though with the last tour. But this one, I don't see her putting that much effort into it (she should skip the acapella part of the show when it comes to new songs and give them a proper place on the set)
