sounds like a lot of people here are interpreting "freestyle" to "ad libbing"... I could be wrong, but I understood her to mean freestyle as in "not conforming to a rhyme scheme"... letting her thoughts flow, but not made up on the spot.  we'll see.

 

I'd be fine if it was a cappella, but it'd be cool if there was some musical accompaniment.

As someone who released a book of poetry on my own... I can say this is not true

 

But who knows with what she wanted to bind a book

this is white hot forever. she never said it would be an album of music

Whether it refers to a spoken word album the profits of which she's donating to Native American organizations or an upcoming album she says is inspired by her exploring her own heritage, I guess "White Hot Forever" is kind of an apt title if a little on the nose.

 

I don't think there will be music backing, which is actually good, because we'll have the raw vocals so fans can easily make 10000 edits

Gonna have a field day with this if I ever complete my Lana Del Reydio covers show follow-up podcast.

@ I agree with you (because I’ve also looked up how much it would cost to print a book) but I think the difference here is that Lana binds the books by hand instead of letting a printing company put all the pages together. And that takes time.
