New Version of NFR to be released January 10th

Recommended Posts

I never did...  :O  I think it came out the week the album was released? It was easy to avoid to just hear more of the album together all at once. I guess I never went back and watched it.

Oh wow you're serving me never watching the Bartender/NFR/HIAB video after everyone criticized it so much.

No clue. Other than different barcodes and the sticker I can't tell. Listened to tracks one at a time with a stopwatch and its still a mystery to me. Also my hearing isn't that great and I would get distracted by a smol dog and everything else in my apt so........

Have you looked at the credits? Might be something there

Came in today. Looks like the old version except for this sticker. I'll compare when I get home.

You are doing the Lord's work, thank you.  :defeated:

Not surprising that the new changes are not that discernible. I am most intrigued by doing time, but it might be a case of very close listening with headphones etc. Are there any liner notes between the two? Thanks!!

Only Change I found in the credits is on Doin' Time-

New Version is mastered by Chris Gerhinger at Sterling sound. (same as rest of album)

Original Version is mastered by Dave Kutch at the Mastering Palace NYC (different from rest of tracks on album)

Listened to this track on both a couple more times. Couldn't tell difference. The track length is the same.

Sorry Lana, I am not going to buy another record version just because it has a new drum sample on it t2615.gif

Besides, money is scarce around here. Even the banks have closed because they got no cash ,an the bank-robbers are leaving

the place empty handed ! LOL

What the fans REALLY want is a new album.

Fresh new melodies and new groovy songs. Your sexy voice singing to us.  RELEASE A NEW ALBUM !

Stop it with the re-re-re-mixes.

So is the uncredited McLaren sample still there?

If by not 'up to par' you mean distilling the worst elements that only kind of work in songs, sure. I could put a dictionary audiobook on shuffle and put it to an instrumental of old money and some of y'all would still be saying it's 50/50 lmfao.
