Lana cancels EU/UK Leg of the Norman Fucking Rockwell Tour

Lana Del Rey has unexpectedly cancelled the entire EU/UK leg of her Norman Fucking Rockwell tour, which was meant to begin tomorrow in Amsterdam.

She states that an illness has caused her to lose her singing voice, and doctors advised her to take 4 weeks of rest.

 

The following shows will be affected:

2/21 - Amsterdam, NL @ Ziggy Dome

2/23 - Paris, FR @ Accor Hotels Arena

2/25 - London, UK @ The O2

2/26 - Manchester, UK @ Manchester Arena

2/28 - Glasgow, UK @ SSE Hydrow

2/29 - Birmingham, UK @ Resorts World Arena

3/2 - Berlin, DE @ Mercedes-Benz Arena

3/3 - Cologne, DE @ Lanxess Arena

Lana cancelling her Paris concert for February 23rd the day I'm going to NYC for two weeks... I know this is absolutely horrible for all the people that were supposed to go but I take it as a sign of God... I really wasn't meant to go to this concert

I actually noticed (along with @RormanNockwell) that Lana sounded quite hoarse at the Grammys, seen in these interviews.. I hope this isn't an illness that has just progressively gotten worse for over a month now, that wouldn't be a good sign. I'm quite worried for her, and hope she'll make a smooth recovery. I'm sure it breaks her heart to cancel a whole leg of an international tour, considering how much she must know her fans love her overseas. Sending her a big giant air hug right now x

Any singers want to speculate specifically on want kind of illness she may have? I'm assuming this is beyond a common cold/sore throat if she's sounded hoarse since the Grammy's. Or is it standard practice to limit singing/voice use for any kind of illness impacting the throat?

omg I do wish her a fast recovery but I hope she doesn't cancel the lollapalooza dates as well, I lit rally just bought a ticket to see her

Probably %.005 chance that's what it is, but a million thoughts are just running through my brain right now and I'm really really worried about her. Just the fact she's seemed sick for about a month now and they're advising her 4 weeks of rest.. is a lot x

It's with regret that Lana Del Rey today announces that she has been forced to 

cancel her entire upcoming EU/UK tour due to illness. 

 

Speaking on the news, Lana Del Rey says: " Sorry to let everyone down so last 

minute but this illness has taken me by surprise and have totally lost my 

singing voice. Dr has advised 4 weeks off for the moment. I hate to let 

everyone down but I need to get well. Love Lana"
