Misheard Lana Lyrics

Recommended Posts

okay i was 100% sure the line in white mustang is "and the sound it was frightening / and you were getting up out of it" as in like, revving up the car and then opening the car doors and stepping out. but the internet is telling me its "you were getting a part of it" ? what does that mean

I thought so too??

i cant be the only one that heard 'sometimes it feels like i've got a hole in my mind' in Get Free, only to find out it's 'war' not 'hole'? i was shook.. i still sing 'hole' though because i think it's a better lyric and i'm so used to it

I'm just a hole, sir.

Until I saw her live for the first time back in January I thought she was singing "I'm feeling ill that trick tonight" in summertime sadness but obviously it's "I'm feeling electric tonight". I've literally been singing it wrong for like five years and no one's corrected me. I thought "ill that trick" meant that she was like feeling "dope" or something idk i didn't question it  I'm dumb lol  :toofunny:

3 for the price of one:

Summertime Sadness: “ oh my God, it feel it everywhere baby I’m on fire sizzling like a snail”

Yayo: “ like a ton of limes with yellow lights on a dark night”

Pin Up Galore: “ I have a deer skull, all mine”

Hell, I Suppose if You Stick Around Long Enough, They Have to Say Something Nice About You

"I'm not violent, baby."  ("I'm on fire, baby.")

It made sense to me because the previous lines, "Watch what you say to me / careful who you're talkin' to," sound like a threat.

"I'm not violent, baby! But watch your mouth or I might make an exception!"

:P

THIS THREAD IS SO FUNNY SSJSJKSK

In Florida Kilos I always heard

“You snort it like a champ, let the winner winner in”

Like I thought they were all doing lines of coke in a pool bar trying to see who could do it best :rip:

And that ding sound made me think of that arcade game where you slam down the hammer as hard as you can

Just classic American references
