Trinity 1,219 Posted July 10, 2013 Noticed there wasn't a topic about fan fiction so I decided to make one. Do any of you write fan fiction {whether it be Lana related or not}? If so, post it here! It seems Lana/Marina {Larina} fics seem to be popular among the Twitter fanbase. Thoughts? Have you ever read any Lana fanfics? Care to recommend any? For those of you who are avid readers, what's your favorite genre to read? I used to write a lot of fics for CATS (the musical)... *runs away in embarrassment* Of course, that was a long time ago, but I must admit it was fun! If you want to laugh your head off for a couple hours and quote it for the rest of your life, I suggest reading My Immortal by Tara Gilesbie. There's even a drinking game. That's how gloriously bad it is. Not convinced yet? Allow me to summarize: Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Tara Way is the biggest Mary Sue in existence. She is a vampire, a witch, a "goff" (her spelling of Goth) and is friendly with all the original characters of the Harry Potter series, who are also vampires, wizards and goffs. There's a Twilight-esque love triangle between her, Draco Malfoy and Harry "Vampire" Potter. Almost every character has been renamed or misspelled and renamed by proxy, with such lovely gems as Neville "Dracola" Longbottom, Ronald "Diabolo" Weasley and Hermione "B'loody Mary Smith" Granger. It's definitely M-rated, because of the ridiculous sex scenes ("He put his thingy in my you-know-what"), gratuitous cursing (Ebony tells a character to fuck off because they "probably have AIDS", at one point) and general awfulness. It's widely considered to be the worst fanfic of all time, but it's probably one of the best things I've ever read. Do it with friends, if they're into it. Do it alone if they're not. I've only ever done so once - I've spent one entire night (literally from dusk till dawn) compulsively reading The Libertines fan fiction; those 2 were definitely asking for it though, so the line between fiction and reality is kinda blurred. Then I put on a black leather minidress with all this corset stuff on the back and front. I put on matching fishnet on my arms. I straightened my hair and made it look all spiky. I felt a little depressed then, so I slit one of my wrists. No, I did not skip anything. She was seriously talking about her hair and then immediately afterwards of slitting her wrists 'cause she was a little depressed.
