STAN WARS: 4th Quarter Album Releases - Who are you supporting? [POLL ADDED]

OK, perhaps the title is misleading and I'm not actually advocating any Stan Wars but WHATEVS. (It you wanna make gentle jabs, I'm all for that, just keep it cute). The last quarter of 2013 is sure to be fucking insane with all the major pop girls releasing or being rumoured to release an album. Let's recap:

• Katy Perry - October 22 - PRISM
• Lady Gaga - November 11 - ARTPOP
• Rihanna - November (rumoured, probability high)
• Britney Spears - Nov/Dec
• Beyonce - December (rumoured, probability not-so-great imo*)

Which albums are you excited for? Which albums not so much? Which artists do you wish for nothing but a flopping album and failing-to-chat singles? Do you think those that are not confirmed entirely (Rihanna/Britney/Beyonce) will be pushed back to avoid competition with Katy and Gaga? Who do you think will be most successful and who will be the least?

*I think that there is no way in hell that Beyonce will be releasing an album this year because she quivers at the sight any of competition and you KNOW her ego could not handle less than spectacular debut sales / album singles. 

I know we have the "What albums are you anticipating?" thread and we have individual artist threads but I figured this would give us the chance to talk about the upcoming mindfuck we will be experiencing with an influx of music from the most major artists in the world (sans Taylor Swift).

I am really indifferent to all of these artists besides Gaga. They do nothing to me, but I respect them and all that stuff. Hopefully their records will live up to their fans' expectations! Good luck to them, too. 

However... ARTPOP is what I thirst for. I feel like using 'thirsty' as we are talking about stan wars, and the thirst is real there, isn't it?

Godney Spears' 8th album has the working title of Blackout 2.0: It Gets Urbaner And Also More Spearitual And A Little More Personal (Raw) (We’re Just Having Lots Of Lunches Right Now)

 

But yeah, Godney is doing something different so I'm really hyped, then Katy, then Bey (but after all her mess I doubt) and finally Rih Rih.

I wish Katy weren't releasing at the same time as Gaga not because I'm concerned that she'll fall into second place but because everyone else is and it's all I'll be hearing about. LBR Katy will do better with the public, not that you could call that a compliment exactly.

 

Let's talk about Beyonce's messy ass, though. She could have had the perfect era with all the promo in the first half of the year. At the very least a greatest hits album with a new single since that's basically what her tour was, Britney Spears "3"-style. And she scrapped or casually brushed it off. Like it had the potential to be a crazy commercial comeback.

apparently princess die won't be on artpop so i can't bring myself to care about it. i'm quite looking forward to katy's album and i have this feeling that taylor swift will release new material soon. i can feel it in my balls... she's coming

Waiting for ARTPOP and Prism. I just want Britney to flop, I don't hate her or anything but I think her time as a pop star is over. She should focus on her family rather than another album. Rhianna is going to put out another album?

Out of the 5 options

 

my most anticpated are Gaga and Katy, I voted Gaga just because her's is the most shrouded in msytery and has the most possibility to be really good and unique or really horrible (still probably unique, but horrible nonetheless)

 

Rihanna is somewhere in the middle

 

And Britney and Beyonce can flop... I want success for Charli and I know she wrote for Britney so if a Charli song ends up on Britney's album I hope that one song does great, but for the most part I just don't really like Britney and I never feel like her music is really her's so I don't like bopping to it. And I don't like her voice much either... I just would rather the other pop girls take over the airwaves.

 

As for Beyonce, I just don't think she;s very interesting.
