hymn, rainbow and praying are my top 3, learn to let go and spaceship are nice too. but i feel likes theres more "eh" tracks on rainbow than ones that blow me away (the first 3 i listed only)

I am loving the more touching songs on this album, like Hymn, Rainbow, Praying and Learn to Let Go. Finding You is also beautiful. I prefer them much more to the rest of  the album, but overall its a great piece of work and very symbolic.

On first listen i really didn't like this album. I think i am warming up to it now though. I expected a more mature sound than we got, but its still so classic Kesha and i missed her. I think i just need to dive into it a little before i LOVE it. I'm just so happy that she's back and my musical tastes matured a lot since she left in 2012. Godzilla is so cute.

I wonder where Emotions will fit into the tracklist. Spaceship is undeniably the only way to close the album, so yeah. I'm excited to hear what kind of song it is too, since Rainbow is such a colorfully diverse album.

The booklet just has the lyrics in it. It's kinda cute though cause the pages are all different colours so when you flip through its like a rainbow

I haven't seen anyone else talk about this here, so i want to, I may be pulling a Graham here so bare with me..

 

The release of this album is SO FUCKING SYMBOLIC! We all know by now the pain Kesha was going through prior to making this album and the abuse she endured under her producer, which worst of all blocked her from her passion: creating music. She even lost her case trying to free herself from his hold on her craft and we all saw her sob in court when that verdict was read. Now that Luke is out of Sony here she is, naked on the album cover (a bold statement from a rape survivor reclaiming her body) and singing about redemption, forgiveness, letting go of the past, and owning who you are and being proud. 

 

I may not love every track on this album but I love the story behind it and I will continue to support Kesha forever. She is one of the strongest and most underrated women  in music.
