I was concerned about rating a country album because I can not stand the overdone-cliche mess of many country artists now. But this album is actually very soothing and awakened my southern roots.

I'm actually surprised at the diversity of themes and would absolutely recommend it to any of you on the fence about listening.

mostly slow, easy listening

I grew up listening to country but turned away from the genre around 2013. I couldn't stand the bro-country/rap/pop garbage. That's why I listen to some country nowadays and Kacey is definitely on that list. I love her charisma and the way she crafts her music. if you guys like this album as much as you do, please, please listen to her debut album.
