Bernie Sanders is voting for Hillary.

Hillary wanted Universal Health care in 1993, but the Republicans did not let it happen then

President Obama's ACA is just kicking the door open for a better system to happen (Personally wish we had France's).

 

First of all, you need a change of your educational system. Education should be free.

im pretty sure lanas democrat. As stated before, she hangs with pretty flamboyant people. her sisters snapchat has gays all over it. she has girls kissing in her MTWBT video.

 

Her saying she loves america has nothing to do with being republican. When republicans say they love america how it used to be, they mean they miss having their slaves. Lana just means that she wishes she was in the glamorous times with marilyn monroe and james dean.

 

 

 

also, most republicans (that Ive met, seen on tv, or are running for office) are racist homophobic assholes, so i pray I am right that lana is a democrat

i think lana is pretty democratic in ideology, especially socially.

 

but in general she's a pretty private person so i can't imagine her advertising her political views all over the internet. i think she just is a big supporter of young voter turnout and people participating in our representative democracy. that's her main purpose for those posts on instagram. she wants people to be informed and make the best choice they can this november. i think it's great that she did this imo. 

 

but if i had to guess i'd say she's voting for hillary almost definitely.

It is safe to assume, after the disgusting pig remarks that abuse and offend all, especially women that were revealed yesterday, the race for the Presidency is over.

The betting markets are now 82-18 for Hillary.

In a country where women are the majority and majority voters, Donald Trump again proves he doesn't have the temperament to be President.

His apology was a joke too, mumbles a couple of words then re-ignites it further.

 

Republicans are running away from him and there are a few calls for him to quit (which won't happen), and the process at this late date means ballots are in the mail, hundreds of thousands of people already voted  there is no process available to legally do

any change!

 

Which is really cool by me. IMHO he never stood a chance, but this just about insures it.

from what i understand, if neither reaches that number, the senate becomes in charge for whom

they want to place in power- us army general, etc.. maybe thats the best thing that could happen here,

as both Trump and Clinton are well disliked by most people, and a third option would be the best.

 

Perhaps US citizens should take the third option. No Vote.

it's 270 and if no one reached it, the NEW house would vote for the President, the NEW Senate the VP

so the House would pick a Republican if the Republicans keep the house

 

But there is no way to not reach 270 in a 2 party system. and the election is Nov.8 (early voting already started), the electoral college meets in December, and if it went to congress it would

be after the new congress is seated in January.

 

Hillary easily shall reach it and the Democratic party should re-take the Senate, and has an outside change (due to the horrible gerrymandering done by Republicans in 2010) of the house.

The Republicans have a finite # of voters and always try in modern times to somehow get people not to vote

The Democratic party has an infinite # of voters, the trick is getting them to vote, especially in mid-terms

 

If 100% of the people voted, and their votes were counted as voted, there would never be another Republican in office.

@@SissyReed  seems to me IMHO you have misinterpreted Lana's "persona" as you call it, and her meaning and intent, and also, her evolvement from the beginning to today

from teenager to a young 20s to the adult, a mature adult she has become

One would think on an obvious front, her stern lashing of Lorde in "IFMWTTT"  along with the entire Honeymoon album (go listen to it again, when you hear the song "Don't let me be misunderstood", play it all again and again

until one does understand not misunderstanding.

 

Wanting to be in a "collective" songwriting/singing/producing environment is 100% the opposite of a Trump.

Being in that environment musically, it means doing what President Obama and the liberals believe in- and to quote Hillary- that it takes a village.

One thing Lana is most certainly not, is deplorable and anyone who didn't vote for Hillary in 2016 would be indeed deplorable.

 

BTW- This election showed-

Trump and the Republicans in their treatment of Blacks, minorities, women and the entire states of NY and California, have made those states residents into 5/8 of a person, much like Blacks were treated prior to the Civil Rights, voting rights acts.

While the small states that Trump stole, their votes now seemingly are worth more than 1 vote per person, in essence, theirs are now 8/5 each.

nasty trump supporters arent the only american people with an "american dream". their dream is to create an america ruled by white men as it used to be hence "make america great again". theyre trying to take the rights away from all minorities so these rich white men can have power of them

 

people who are respectable have an "american dream" of getting an affordable college education, meeting the love of their lives and being able to marry them, building a family whether the the relationship is heterosexual or homosexual, having a great paying job, watching their kids grow up in a great neighborhood, equality, etc.

To me Lanas whole artistic universe has always been about escapism, nostalgia and looking at the world through an aestethic, artistic lens, which is a very beautiful outlook, but highly impractical when searching for political visions.

 

I don't know how much she is able to "snap out" of that artistic outlook, when it comes to making a political analysis of the world to be honest. Some of her remarks about feminism and politics in general makes me think not so much. I DO think she's liberal, but I have a suspicion that her political outlook is more shaped by her association with and fascination of artsy-hippie type of people that she likes to identify herself with, than a genuine sense of social indignation.

 

Which is 100% okay with me. I never look to artists for political responses to the world. Lana is a good artist exactly because she has such a strong artistic vision, and if that means she's too busy living in lala-land to care about politics, I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

  

Her whole "American Dream" theme does seem very inspired by both freedom-loving hippie culture and old-money Republicanism. Not a very consistent political outlook but fabulous entertainment and art. I can live with that.

IDK, but I think she was talking about the aesthetics/art of that time, you know? Her songs have a lot of the beat generation ideas (drugs, road trips, freedom, etc...). And even in the Ride video, she's getting drunk in the road, she sleeps with a lot of guys and have sex in a casino lol. I don't think she's conservative or anything like that.

On periscope Chuck asked who her viewers were voting for, lots of them said Bernie and she said "I like Bernie's intentions, but I feel like he won't be able to follow through with them." and then she said "Anybody for Hillary?" that's what I remember.  the primaries were long over in August, and most (all the smart people and all the great Americans) in November voted for Hillary

 

the point being  a vote in the primaries for either was a vote for the Democratic candidate,

only one of which was on the ballot in November

 

and Hillary won by 3 million votes and as shown yesterday with 100% Absolut proof, the election was 100% officially stolen by Putin lover Trump and the Deplorables

by nefarious means and that Hillary indeed won

 

Hope the rumors of Hillary running for Mayor of NYC, that would be cool. That would in a way be like Jerry Brown running for lesser office after he did not get into the White House, and like how Teddy Kennedy became one of the greatest senators ever by rmaining in the senate for 40 years after his unsuccessful bid for the Presidency.
