Are you illegally in America? Because as far as history goes, you're only supposed to be living in America if you've done it legally. He's trying to control the illegal aliens. He doesn't care if you're a legal immigrant. The reason why he's trying to do more vetting is because we can't trust people from a country that doesn't hold records for everyone there. It's not about Muslims, it's about the country of Syria and their people as a whole. Not the Muslim religion, my step mom is Muslim and my dad is converting to Islam.

I respect that but, you aren't proving the point for the members of the LGBT community or the (VERY LEGAL) Native Americans... also you can't forget the whole group of BLM Movement. 

 

It's not just because they are coming here illegally, it's also a problem just being a Muslim. You're instantly a target for being a terrorist the moment you see a headdress. My family is so racist, and homophobic, that I couldn't even be openly friendly with a Muslim or African American in front of them. My whole family voted for Trump, and literally told me they would disown me if I openly supported Hillary. It's got out of hand at this point, and Trump is showing that it's so easy for the Heterosexual Christian Caucasians to attack the people who aren't what they are.

The reason we are in a mess is, in watered down terms, that people need to mind their own business. The government and the public are getting in on everyone's lives.  If a man wants to get married to a man, LET THEM  (as long as it is of legal and consent) if someone wants to get an abortion, carry a gun, or do weed let them (again, as long as it is of legal and safe terms), worry about paying YOUR bills and raising YOUR children and YOUR life.  The government needs to stop intervening on peoples lives and stop re-inventing the wheel on everything.

 

And I find it hypocritical that we have may people saying "I dont care about politics but we need to stop trump bc of progress and.." EHHH EH EH i stopped reading at "I dont care about politics". Dont tell me that you come out of the woodwork every 4 years to tell people who to vote for when you give a shit about what is going on in politics nor cant name the first president.  It is not to say that you are not allowed to have or voice your opinion, but don't act like you hold a Ph. Just because there happens to be one thing that doesn't paint Trump as a massive sexist doesn't nullify all the other disgusting things he's done. Trump is a business man who has went bankrupt several times and relies heavily on foreign investment (saudi, russia, china, etc.) to stay afloat. A business man who has run his casino business into the ground and has lost so much money that he likely has not been paying income taxes on his earnings. What's more, other bonafide millionaires like Warren Buffet, Mark Cuban etc. have come out and said what a load of crap Donald's boasts about wealth are. His own damn book on negotiating was written by a ghost writer!

 

I could on and on about the rest of the drivel you posted but I'm not spending all night on this. The truth, is even if you knew all of your points were false, you would still have voted for Trump no matter what. These so called "reasons" are probably just a smokescreen for the real reasons you voted trump (reasons that are much uglier). Otherwise you've bought into the ceaseless campaign by certain members of the right wing to discredit Clinton and mislead voters. I still don't understand how anyone with a brain can listen to Trump incoherently ramble in speeches/debates and think "this is someone who I could vote for." You guys do know that most of the Senate and Congress are Republican and rarely pass laws, right? We should worry more about our state representatives than some American figures. Both Trump and Hillary' ideas won't get passed by the Senate or Congress. Even voting on gay marriage and the confederation flag was a close tie. The President can't even vote on abortion becuase it was deicdded that's a state issue. Y'all all scared over our president because y'all don't even know what she or he can do.
