Is Ben's dog English?

and I hope Coachella is on the album because it seems to me to exactly follow LOVE and Coachella is one of the best protest songs ever

The line "maybe my contribution..." just blows my mind in its perfect significance to any poet, singer, songwriter

The only 9-11 song that I felt captured the mood entirely was Alan Jackson's Where were you when the world stopped,

and he too wrote it spur of the moment about "did you go out and buy a gun,... or did you watch I love Lucy reruns" not only defined 9-11, but also defines

the divide in the country today between love and hate.

and reminds of Scott McKenzie's "If you're going to san Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in the hair"

Lana continues the LOVE is better than Hate

and Coachella is a wonderful mature song.

the whole symmetry between Born to Die and Lust for Life is also amazing. (after 3 one word titles in a row)

Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. Waiting for a box set vinyl of all 400 songs not on any lp
