Updated to include the March 24, 2018 chart and now 309 weeks

however, it is dropping a bit

interesting is Young and Beautiful re-charted on the Alternative Digital Song chart this week at #24 (in its 76th week on that chart)

(not sure what brought it back).

Lana should add Young & Beautiful to a remastered Born to Die, and also add a Christmas song.

Born to Die achieves its 310th week, HOWEVER it drops to #200 and could fall off the charts next week

and with the re-entry by Eminem at 308 weeks, and the Beatles at 309 weeks, they could overtake.

and remember- only USA sales/downloads streaming count to the US chart.

Hopefully the news that Lana is being honored with the ASCAP Global Impact honor at the ASCAP dinner in April will help.

maybe a duet with a country artist, doing a song from BTD that could be added??? speaking of retro Joshua Hedley would be cool

BAD NEWS-

BORN TO DIE holds at 311 weeks as it is not on the Billboard200 chart dated April 14, 2018

to make matters worse- the Beatles #1 album gets its 311th week, so pulls into a tie with Lana

and should it not be on next week, Eminem's album this week notches its 310week and is at 192 (itself might not be long for chart)

However, it could come back at any time

Best ways-

remastered BTD/Paradise with an added or changed song

Christmas song added

Some other singer singing a song from BTD that there is a version that is added to BTD

or perhaps people would for an extended period purchase BTD

but as said prior, the accomplishment is achieving the 275th and 300th week on chart

but let's hope it reenters next week.

oh my god nobody gives a fuck anymore about BTD, it's still only certified Platinum x1 in the US so it's literally selling nothing

She should worry about promoting her latest album rather than giving a damn about a 6 year old album

yes.

It would be nice if it would still gain some weeks, but the 300 mark already makes this album and Lana legendary so the job was done

@surfnoirswing

Why is it that some people hate Lana so much that they wish her ill and negativity???

another 8 weeks (and it will get it) and Lana becomes #2 of all time.

but one thing is correct- even if it didn't get another week (which it will) in 50 years, it will still be in the Top 100 albums that have over 300 weeks.

But Lana continues her streak of being on a Billboard chart by being on the Social Media chart, re-entering on that chart.

Important to remember-

Lana had passed the Beatles #1   about 30 weeks ago, but then around Oct. when BTD dropped off for the Christmas season, Beatles

came back so now they have repassed her. Had they stayed on the charts all along, she wouldn't have passed them anyhow.

Same with some others she passed, they may pass her, but hers is newer

In fact, Lana is #4 of all albums from 2000-2018

(and the single most important album of the last 20 years)

Updated to include the 4/21 chart.

Born to die is not on this weeks 200. and remains at 311 weeks.

Eminem now is tied with Lana for 18th place (Lana had passed Eminem a while back).

Beatles  #1s now at 312 weeks moving ahead.

Lana is still 7 weeks shy of Tapestry.

Could there be an official reason, perhaps it is not streaming somewhere that it used to? Or something is limiting

sales? (or perhaps in a few weeks they (the powers that be) want the weeks to stop?(or something sinister like that.

Born to Die holds at 311 weeks.

NOTE- Born to Die is #19 on the Alternative Album Chart, and is the only album in the ALT30 to not be on the Billboard200 all genre chart, which leads one to wonder-

are they accurately noting all sales for the main chart, or are people streaming in some way to be a liability to Lana?

Enquiring minds would like to know if she is being cheated. (again).
