I've been appreciating this album more recently.

But like I said in the other thread...Imagine if LFL had been edited some with this tracklist:

Roses Bloom for You
Best American Record
13 Beaches
Love
Cherry
God Bless America
WTWWAWWKD
Beautiful People
Tomorrow Never Came
Heroin
Get Free

What a classic (but I am starting to like LFL song again).

I just think the album should have been all hip-hop/electronica driven or completely like the second half. It didn't work as well as a full project, and there is no excuse for songs like Coachella to have been included.

When she was talking about the LFL demo that sounded Blade Runner-inspired, was she referring to the soundtrack because that record is actually heaven and the thought of her making an ambient inspired track is just :defeated:

It still makes me sad that Rick said LFL demo was gorgeous until Lana contacted Max Martin

Ugh I really really want this demo.

She snapped with Heroin. I'm still stunned by the lyrics and climax to this song. Truly the best song on her whole discography.

Fixed for you x

I find this shit to be so condescending. Yes, she says she loves the album, but she talks about Lana and her lyrics as if she’s some campy, unintentional joke. Why is it so improbable for some people that a woman can be sardonic and purposefully humorous with her lyrics. And I think some of the more serious tracks like Heroin, Get Free, or 13 Beaches contain beautiful lyrics. Now, Change’s corny lyrics are the exception here.

I think when I got my stupid Spotify yearly whatever — I had listened to that record for like 48 hours.

At least Lana got her 0.0000045$ from her streams

Still wondering what possessed her and made her think this MV was a good idea

well the MV was for BAR so she tried to cover her tracks

anyway this album makes me so nostalgic for the summer it came out. When I listen to certain songs, I can feel the summer heat. I was around for the UV and Honeymoon eras, from start to finish, but Lust For Life will be my favorite era with her as a fan (so far). Every single that came out, I absolutely loved (Except for Coachella, but she grew on me).

God I was so hype for this album

The name

the happiness in Love, along with it's space aesthetic

Collaborating with the ICONIC Stevie Nicks

Groupie Love was my jam for a straight week

The Apple Music radio interview when she debut SB and GL

Buying the album 5 times, hanging the Target poster on my wall

I have such sweet memories with this album, it's truly one of my favorites by her

summer bumm er is THAT song... its so good why did we all hate it?

Legend. Predicted So Good

If by not 'up to par' you mean distilling the worst elements that only kind of work in songs, sure. I could put a dictionary audiobook on shuffle and put it to an instrumental of old money and some of y'all would still be saying it's 50/50 lmfao.
