This is a prime example of white manipulation and whites' ability to promote their racist, backward, supremacist views under the guise of acceptance, not to mention she tried to profit from that supremacy too. I don't get it. Why did this kid get 60,000 dollars? What makes him so special out of the other millions of kids that get bullied every day and receive nothing? Also, what did that money even do? Did he pay a hitman to get rid of the bullies? I just don't get it.

Anyway, bullying is wrong and he can't help the family he was born into but I understand the backlash. I just hope this is a wake-up call for him to distance himself from his families backwards beliefs in the future.

This whole getting money and notoriety for being bullied is the ultimate game of luck. So many young kids get bullied, and I'm still emphatic towards them, but there is a point where we have to accept it's part of childhood. I do think because of the media kids are consuming and social media bullying has  become more intense than ever. I remember being bullied about my body all throughout school, and no one ever thought to give me money, or any of the kids I went to school with that got bullied. All I got was a damn eating disorder. I hope that this kid can find happiness and distance himself from his racist family for his own well being.
