It's my second favorite (or Love depending on the day tbh), It feels like a classic Lana song ala Ultraviolence and Honeymoon but with new energy acoustically. (Whew, can you imagine if this had Ultraviolence production? A MANIC guitar solo moment like SoC and PWYC ) Get Free would have been GODLY if it had even a hint of a bridge rather than an outro (or both, hit me with that 6:30 length song) It's so lyrically beautiful, and melodically. People are sleeping on GBA though, its an underrated bop. I wish she went up an octave in the chorus for the last chorus, but the melody in the verses is actually one of the best moments on the record for me. Even though the lyrics are quite vague, just thinking that she's thinking of all the people in America who don't feel safe on the streets (but that she wants them to be - in the future, the perspective the song is from) makes it quite emotional to me. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
