@@Amadeus what do you think it will be the plot of the sequel?

I think they'll explore more of their lives and, like Elio in his 20's and Oliver trying to be a professor and they'll adapt the 15/20 years prologue to end the movie

I’m sure the movie is good. I haven’t seen it yet though. I’ll probably watch it in a couple of weeks. If you’re serious about watching it though I’d read the book first. The book was so good! I always like to read the book before I see a movie vs the other way around. You really should check it out.

Normally I love most romance movies I watch but this movie did not click with me as much. Especially considering that it's a romance centered between two gay men. As a gay man myself I felt a certain disconnect with it for some reason. The soundtrack was beautifully done and I enjoy it very much.

 

One thought that kept going through my head as I was watching the movie was this:
