yeah okay that's cool and all that that's how the world works and whatever but that doesn't mean as an individual you should stand for it or participate in it.

i don't know why you guys get so angry about the slightest critisism towards what she is wearing or weight gain or basically anything. you would think ldr is THE artist who is serving the most look au natural, when in truth, she isn't

Im not angry, and actually I wasn't saying anything about lanas dress aesthetic at all. I was just pointing out how it's silly to use the status quo (tabloid magazines or blogs or whatever) to justify your own moral judgments. Saying Lana is gonna get criticized by the media no matter what because that's how the world is isn't a justification for the individual to participate in that, nor is it justification for why such an act is just and right.

I honestely think LFL will sound more upbeat than Honeymoon. Hasn't she mentioned this in one of her interviews too? I could be mistaken.

Also,I'm still wondering what kind of sound it will have. I wanna see how that "retro sensibility with a futuristic style" will turn out. Love was amazing,but it'll be good for her if she goes out of her boundaries and tries some more upbeat songs. I'm anticipating good things from this album.

 

For me it's Ultraviolence >> Born To Die >> Paradise >>>> Honeymoon. Don't get me wrong,I love every album of hers but Honeymoon sounded a bit...weak? I love HBTB,MTWBT,24,Salvatore,Swan Song,DLMBM,Freak and even Religion. But I couldn't really stand Terrence and TBD. Honeymoon (the song) was so-so for me.

I know many of you may tell me 'but you love Ultraviolence',yes I love Ultraviolence because it has many different styles of songs,and it's full of amazing,beautifully and interestingly composed songs. I mean you can't compare Ultraviolence to Brooklyn Baby or Sad Girl to Florida Kilos. 

I can't get into PWYC or BB for a reason but I still think that it's her best work up to day. Yes BTD era was iconic but I think UV was the era where Lana found her real style and was more comfortable. At least,in my opinion.

 

 

Ultraviolence is still probably the best album of the decade.

but its not your place to justify what is wrong or right just because you don't think an individual should criticize lana. i think lana dresses terribly. thats my opinion, does it mean I'm participating in the hate that a magazine may be spreading? no, because I'm just stating my opinion. 

 

i haven't yet read a magazine that criticizes lana style, but i myself think lana dresses terribly because i can form my own opinions and i can be vocal about them because lana chose the life of a celebrity and its the small price to pay for the millions of dollars she makes

opinions can be morally wrong tho (I'm not saying yours is, I'm saying that merely having an opinion doesn't absolve you of it being right or wrong.)

 

 

criticizing her fashion choices as an individual and a fan is okay to me, but i think it's pointless. i don't have high opinions of people paid to attack celebs (any celebs), though.

 

the only thing i have a problem with is people calling lana fat and just being mean about it (which happened a few pages back)
