Despite whether it is or isn't on the album, I don't think the song will represent what the album will sound like. Since it is such a new song that was created very quickly while the rest of the album has been worked on for over a year, I doubt it'll match the direction of the rest of the album. So for those of you who don't like the song, I don't think you have much to worry about.

At least for me this song is the one with the most replay value out of the three released (even though it's not that great)

Was this album actually worked on for over a year though? If I understood her comments about it correctly, didn't the election and its results drastically change what the album would have sounded like?

Overall, I don't think so. Especially sonically. She may have added some songs that were lyrically influenced by the past few months, but I think she's had the overall concept & melodic/musical vision for the album for awhile that probably hasn't changed.

Maybe it was an outtake from the photoshoot and it wasn't going to be used anywhere so she used it for Cwimm.

So there's hope that in this form CWIMM will not be on the album but I definitely can see it reworked in the future because the melody and lyrics are not bad at all

I think the only reason a Love outtake was used as the cover art was to save time, as otherwise they would have had to go through the whole process of another photoshoot again and editing and choosing the right photo etc

 

I think it was used just to get the song out asap

I don't think this album will be my favorite, but I like it, so something's safe. I mean I like all the songs, even if I do prefer HM songs more, it's not a disaster

(For exemple I'm a huge fan of Goldfrapp, and their last album is horrible to me)

Why have I always gotten the feeling that when that guy asked Lana if the album would be a surprise and she said no that it actually gave her the idea to make the album a surprise lmfao. Maybe it's wishful thinking but every song so far she just dropped with no announcement, maybe she'll do the same with the album on the 26th, or at least she'll be like "my album is coming at midnight"
