Oh wow the album is actually coming!!!

 

This might be the first Lana album I’m not excited about at all.

Idk, I don’t care for the album cover & that tracklist sucks. Sorry but tbh I listened to MAC , Venice Bitch, & Hope like once when they came out and I fell asleep. Lol. I’m looking forward to some of those titles like Cinnamon Girl & how to disappear.

I'm very picky and particular when it comes to aesthetics and the way things are lined up in photos etc, so when I first saw the cover I immediately thought it was too busy, too unsymmetric, too much (and that it kinda belonged in one of those unsatisfying video compilations lmao).

BUT (and this doesn't happen that often for me) after letting it sink in for a hot sec it's suddenly feels really cohesive and pleasing to look at. When comparing NFR to her other covers, I realised that the simplicity of the others actually makes me more prone to focus on the things I think look weird or bad. Anygays this prob didn't make any sense and I'm not sure how to post pics yet bcs this is my first time

I'm from Europe and i bought the LFL signed copy in the UK store. They did not ship outside the UK, so I hired a company that gives you an UK address, they receive the CD and send it to your country. It was expensive, the CD (CD price + Send to the UK company + Send to my country) like 50 euros

After the first shock, I'm also beginning to "accept" the cover. I don't really like it yet, but the picture itself is okay. Different from her other albums, but still very hers. I just wish the text had been done differently. What bugs me the most is really the lack of a "Lana Del Rey", I still can't believe they replaced it with that LDR logo we found on her store a bunch of days ago.

Yikes... I was thinking of getting a vinyl, so I can only imagine the price that would be. Why did you order from the UK store and not the US one? Even with the continental shipping, maybe it would be less of a hassle? :/ Thank you so much for the reply!!
