right because at the end of the day lana controls the vision, so if she wants plain piano like bartender or happiness is a butterfly, we’ll get piano. if she wanted a psychedelic dreamy sound or heavy electric guitar we would get that. producers matter a lot and still affect the overall sound, but it’s overall mostly lana’s work.

No you're right, I'll rep Eraser with you. It doesn't seem to be very well liked here I guess, but it means a lot to me despite the.. K-12ness? Of the lyrics. And I'm sure a lot of us here can relate to the idea of wishing that you could just erase abuse, suffering, and memories of people who hurt you from your life, but knowing you just have to carry it with you. Easily one of the better leaks from that era, with a really nice instrumental(closer to Cry Baby than the rest of K-12 IMO).

This is absolutely not how it works. She would have to negotiate the rights specifically when attempting to be released from her contract. Labels retain rights to all music produced under their auspices as a part of almost all recording contracts. There's a significant chance she is leaving with almost none of the music produced in the last ten years.
