    girl … you need to talk to your local politicians not some celebrity who probably played in a town that had the infrastructure (and I don’t mean just the venue) for her to safely put on a show for her audience. Covering this popular song is not fetishizing, she just loves it and it’s an American classic that’s popular globally.

    Oh my fucking God the way she was hitting those low notes AND those high notes. I feel like I haven't heard her use that low register with such clarity for 5 years.     Doin Time is a 90s song, Take Me Home is a 70s song, you can't expect an originally old folk song released in Winter to be transformed into a light song with modern light pop beats released in Summer, like COME ON

    Its legit making me emo thinking of how John Denver was my dads first concert as a young boy, March 1980 in Toronto, n now the first artist I ever loved is covering him 40 years later, a song he sang that very night .. it feels like such a sweet full circle moment, I just can't wait to share this with him in the morning at the end of the day more than anything else, this is what music is all about to me .. so thank you lovely Lana I was indeed taken home
