The more I listen to it the more I dislike it. I like some songs but this is her worst album hands down. Rushed, unfinished, lazy samples, underwhelming production, subpar lyrics, pitch demo singers used as features, scraps used as filler, 12 songs missing on the physicals, etc. It just feels empty. An obvious cash grab acting as a follow up to an actually good album for nostalgia bait. A stain on her discography, but it seems like the past few years she’s made it her mission to tarnish her legacy. Listening to The Pinkprint after listening to this is so jarring like this really is the same artist…

we'll never have another artist like her... it's basically a poem, and it mentions methamphetamines, flamingos, coney island, jersey shore, and a lot of mentions of "blue" that undeniably add to the song's beautifully melancholic feel, blue fifty's queen, blue oyster cove, blue fifty's song it's so lizzy grant, not to mention it's lo-fi quality, and the random soundbytes of elvis i will cherish her for all eternity... and the fact it morphed into old money.... imagine a laptop demo of old money similar to sweetheart and connection, it would be such a monumental moment

I wanted to listen to this but I got bored after like, six songs in maybe I'll try again later I re-listened to Roman Reloaded recently tho and I still love it. My favourites are Roman Holiday, Beez in the Trap, Stupid Hoe and Va Va Voom

listened to the album yesterday and i think there's a bit of exaggeration from both sides. the album is lazily done but the songs are really not that bad. i think most of it had mad potential, nicki just needed to work on them more and actually finish them. but the idea is there. i can understand everyone's frustration tho, this had little to do with the original pink friday, it does feels kinda misleading on her end. however, barbs occasional homophobia and transphobia is incredibly weird, there's not a single song on this album worth all that. the constant race card pulling and overall acting like this album is a hardcore hip hop masterpiece that's unappealing to white audiences is laughable, especially since nicki is singing most of the time LMAO. this fanbase is being overly delusional at the moment, i think they ran out of ideas to defend their fave and are now resorting to virtual crimes only

Not gonna lie if anything she probably had this realization of being tired for a few years now. I remember back then in late 2018 we had unreleased album expectations, but I think in herself knowing that she’s purposely postponed it for when she’s not feeling like working on new things yet wanting to give the fans stuff. I don’t think she’ll stop making albums, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is her last one for 2-3 years! We will probably get a covers album, the 2nd poetry book in 2024, & at the most some teasing for another album. If she doesn’t tease at all, then I definitely see her releasing unreleased songs sporadically when they get popular on TikTok or just for fun! Especially, when she has a bunch of songs we do know she wishes she released or never had a home for & an album or compilation of such sorts isn’t far for really tbh.

Queen, Pinkprint and Pink Friday are her best. I think Queen may even be my fav but sure.

I wanted to listen to this album but the opening song reminded me of autumn 2018 and now I am deep in my feels listening to WTPA 😭😭😭😭 This has absolutely nothing to do with Nicki Minaj but I never realized I was grieving the life pre-pandemic me could’ve had if the events of 2020 didn’t happen

I'm so glad that A&W is getting the praise it so deserves in the end of year lists so far. It's a career-defining song. It's perfect in every way.

the delusion this half-assed unfinished mixtape is nowhere near being this ahead of its time masterpiece you're painting it out to be. most of the intro track's a sped up version of when the party's over by Billie Eilish like get real for one second this is not even close to being a good follow up to Pink Friday (one of the best albums of the 2010s)
