I genuinely don’t think any other album deserves aoty other than Ocean Blvd. SOS was extremely bloated and only half the songs are good/memorable. Midnights is the same. Endless Summer Vacation actually sucks I don’t understand how it got nominated. The Record is good I guess but it’s nowhere near Ocean Blvd. John Batiste album sucks. GUTS is the only other album I personally think is good enough to be AOTY but Ocean Blvd is still so much better. I do think the meltdowns from swifties if olivia wins will be hilarious though

Omg yes!!!! Why are people doubting she's not attending at the main event, she's so excited for this, she obviously is, she attended those two last times she were nominated!!! Also why do I have a feeling that the Pre-Grammy Gala outfit will be better than the actual Grammy red carpet one 2020 was kinda the case...

If we get songs like Ride, Let The Light In, Tomorrow Never Came, Dance Till We Die bridge I am in for a country album Maybe some folk/fairytale vibes too like Yosemite, A&W the first part and Dragonslayer And songs like Wild One or Angels Forever giving me Americana vibes too In the end Lana always makes a genre her own, so am still I excited for LDR 10 whatever it will be Also I am no expert in genres like country and Americana so please don't come for me, it's just what I gathered in this thread and what is giving me those vibes

The problem with country (or any genre tbh) is everyone describes it differently. Lana herself has said that she thinks Ride has a country vibe to it, so while everyone thinks we’re getting yeehaw country I absolutely do not

I really do hope A&W wins SOTY, i think it is peak songwriting, it addresses so many issues that women go through and yet don’t speak about, in so many different layers. And I loved her recent commentary on it in her vogue interview- of the worry of the later half diminishing the songs core meaning and how she decided for it so we could end in a happy place. It is really reflective of her journey and I love it, if the song gets the award and the recognition for what it is and what it deserves, it will be a win for all women

She may take some imagery/themes from country music (like the lyrics from the snippet) but I don't think we're getting a country album. Americana could be almost anything so I definitely expect some guitars but more on the folk-y and blues-y side. It's probably going to be similar to Chemtrails, the acoustic UV era songs, IYLDWM, LTLI... plus something completely new cause it's Lana and she always mixes sounds even in her most cohesive records.

With Lana, nothing is absolutely sure. When Country Roads was recorded, it was for the cover album that was supposed to be out before Chemtrails. Needless to say that that plan went to hell But Country Roads is also very Americana, just like Henry, Come On. I wouldn’t be surprised if she announced that LDR10 would be half new songs half covers.
