It's very funny to me how many swifties are getting back to these comments with "then don't buy it." It really isn't the clapback they're making out to be. Separate bonus tracks for each variant means that you have to buy every variant to enjoy the full album. That is not a criticism nor my opinion, it is a fact. I wonder why some swifties take that as an insult. It is a fair comment on this kind of releases and it isn't that serious for some fans to get so defensive about it.

I will say, it's pretty weird how she teased this random song and then disappeared, complete with a photo/single cover (?) and everything. First of all, it's not first single vibes, it's clearly a low-key, quiet ballad. So, nothing like West Coast, Ride, High by the Beach, or even Ocean Boulevard and Mariner's. Secondly, why tease anything unless you're gonna follow up with something? I'm fine with having zero information, but gurrrl, don't tease us like that.

I don't know, judging from what we have heard so far from the supposed second album, everything was better than "Night Time, My Time". Probably "Pray For Rain" was the best one by far. That's what happens sometimes when you release such an amazing and timeless record, that maybe anything you do after it sounds even better. She really made the perfect debut album for her. So all things considered and after SO MANY YEARS waiting for a follow up, seeing the quality was THERE it sucks she'll probably never get to release it.

Bonus tracks should not be considered to be part of the "full album", they are, as the name suggests, just a bonus. Like I don't consider "Is This Happiness" or "Flipside" to be part of Ultraviolence just because they were included in the Japanese iTunes store. But as a consolation, you will surely get all songs together as MP3s at some point, and then you can create a 'full album' playlist.

The multiple releases genuinely are annoying but I just don’t care to hear the same criticism over and over it’s really a problem with the vinyl industry/record labels now, not specifically Taylor. I was over the whole variant thing after the midnights ones and now I just wait to purchase (and I don’t purchase the tv vinyls at all lol). The bonus tracks will be available on google drive immediately so it’s really just whatever. The best way to make the shady tactics stop is to not purchase.
