It appears to have been taken the same day Nikki & Lana did their photoshoot with Madeline Northway back in October. I commented the lyric from Axl Rose Husband on the post she made about the photoshoot (which ironically was also on the same day I met her a few hours earlier) and she replied with “exactly exactly”… let’s not forget that Lana teased a lyric to Taco Truck x VB in an Instagram comment reply to me a year before the song was released… and she replied to this comment last September and Lasso is set to be released this September… Manifesting x

The problem isn’t Trump vs Biden, the problem is the politicians who are mostly 60 or older who have been in office for nearly 40 years. We need term limits, age limits, and people to be involved in more than the presidential elections. There are elections every year determining important local decisions (mayor, school board, local council) that get next to no coverage. Did I misspeak when I said the Trump years weren’t as bad as it was painted to be? Maybe slightly. But for this whole country’s existence unless you’re a straight white male this country hasn’t always been a very welcoming place. Most of the big issue topics (family separation, children in cages) are STILL HAPPENING. But since we’re blue, the media attention has dropped, and we hear nothing about it. life wasn’t ideal before Trump, during Trump, or post Trump. Just focusing in on 2017-2020 and saying that is the stain on the country is very near sided and ignores both our country’s past and where we’re at now.

Drop an album this year, announce a tour, Froot 10th anniv repackage next year…. Get everyone’s coins mama. But make sure the music isn’t shit this time!

i love the brat cover as much as the next person, but tweets like that are just sort of... immature it really gives 'i cant take criticism' because there are thousands of 11/10 album covers that convey the music without the artist even on the cover (off the top of my head, rayes M21CB, bury me at makeout creek by mitski and even mileys slide away single cover). i do understand and agree with her point that some (particularly gay fans) do see an album cover without the artist on and immediately scream 'WhAT is ThIS' but i think that comes from a place of overexposure to great album art than intentional misogyny (despite it still being slightly misogynistic) and they’re always looking for a step up from the previous thing anyways i’m rambling TL;DR i like the brat cover and charli is acting the same way she always has

Trump’s presidency certainly WAS as bad as people/media painted it to be. His presidency was destined to benefit a certain group of people and to not see that shows YOU ARE IN THAT GROUP OF PEOPLE. Including me!!! I’m in that group of people! I’m a white male, my life was not affected because of his presidency!! And that is by design! Immigrants from Latin and South America put through hell, families separated, people dying in cages, Muslim people from cherry-picked countries were outright BANNED from entering the US, women having their rights stripped from them because of HIS judicial picks, transgender people being banned from serving their country, and the 400,000 people who died from COVID by the time he left office because he fucking LIED. If none of this affected you, consider yourself lucky. But his presidency was a stain on this country’s history and the fact we have to choose between him and Joe fucking Biden again shows we are in the absolute worst timeline.

I can always count on you for rational takes. Thank you for this. It drives me wild when people flip out over my refusal to vote. I don’t believe that voting does much of anything, and getting to choose a new master every 4 years doesn’t make one free. The late George Carlin, one of my favorite comedians, said it best: Simply put, I don’t trust people who are attracted to positions of power (they’re essentially psychopaths) and I don’t consent to whatever bullshit they have up their sleeves. Voting only encourages them.

I honestly don’t have a strong opinion on the TikTok ban. It’s easy to have an emotional response, but I may need to read more about the reasons why, including safety and national security risks. I’m generally all about free speech and avoiding censorship, but I’d like to be more educated on this topic before “picking sides.” Assuming it’s Trump vs. Biden, it’s a no-brainer for me. In a perfect world, I wish we didn’t have a duopoly and had more political parties in the US. Unfortunately, voting third party or writing in someone is just giving away your vote in this election. There’s too much at stake and Trump is too big of a threat to put back into office. You can say that Biden is old, out of touch, too moderate, too establishment, not the best with foreign affairs, etc., but I’d take him over Trump any day. Messaging is key, because if TikTok is banned, that is going to piss off a lot of people. Especially younger voters.
