This album is so stabilizing n reassuring, and it breaks my heart for her knowing how mainstream culture doesnt really prize what she offers, this is past entertainment, this is a disarming and healing ring for the soul. Take it from her, u can have everything in this world but it can all still feel very baseless if u’ve lost yourself. What a noble journey this has turned into thank you n be well mama.

I think it’s quite beautiful and poignant how Lana starts the album off “looking for the father [she] wanted back” and at the end of the album, seems to have found him (and written a song with him!) 

I don't want to be negative or anything but I'm not really understanding what this is supposed to be, especially when taken in conjunction with the mv.
Is it meant to be serious? Ironic? I find it hard to really invest in the song when there's an mv of her with all that stuph at the end. I suppose I'm a bit confusion.

For me it reminds me of Love Song! and I definitely see the musical/theatrical element also, it kinda reminds me of Josh Groban lol
