It’s so beautiful imo, and it’s such a shame she scrapped these lyrics cause they really make sense and show a different, deep and more vulnerable side to this hauntingly beautiful song

dorian electra is not even kind of cancelable tbh, they made a gr8 album with actually queer writers & producers (and umru) and literally they're so nice and they support everyone, not to mention their nightlife connections pretty much singlehandedly gave charli the opportunity to "tour" pop 2 last year beyond the new york, LA and london shows by organizing and putting on the femmebot fantasy afterparties, which always featured local queer talent! severely unproblematic king, stream flamboyant.

fuck umru for telling everyone that charli didnt wanna record with him hearing her without autotune. It’s because when charli does those screamy vocals with the autotune on, hearing it without the effects in the studio is kinda embarrassing.

Lucky is a ballad, it’s obviously gonna be stripped back and have a simple production that leaves more room for the voice to stand out
 
IMHO what they did was wonderful: a backdrop composed of layered auto-tuned choirs and a synthesiser that plays the chords, while her vocals blend beautifully (thanks to the auto-tune because she can’t sing for shit) in a heart-wrenching melody
Also the flutes aren’t used in the instrumental, like in My Heart Will Go On for example, but they’re played along with her voice, when, in the outro, her voice (and the flutes) are made to blend with the background vocals

I don’t want to burst your bubble or seem like a d*ck, but studies have shown that the human ear literally cannot tell the difference.

the difference from 16bit - 24bit is minimal (for regular human ears) sis u have to have super ears I think I can almost feel the difference also but its so minimal... I have the flac 16bit and it sounds good enough tho. Good luck trying to find it I know its hard to find the 24bit version of these albums it depends a lot from the producer who makes the final encoding (Sophie for example always encodes her released songs in 24bit + she does an amazing job mastering them which for me is more important than the 24bit depth itself) However if u have a good mastering + 24bit file then wow its heavenly
