My condolences to those who were affected by these events and my heart goes out to everyone who is suffering from them. The world is a terrible place a lot of the time and more often than not nothing is done to prevent these kind of tragedies. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of both tragedies and I hope they can find peace knowing that the world is grieving with them and people are wanting to make a difference.
 
Can you not turn this thread into something about you? If you wanna talk disrespectful, you're certainly right there in the middle of it, coming in a thread about a tragedy just to start some bullshit. You're upset and that's fine, but going on like this is only going to take attention away from these events and put all the attention on you. I'm not trying to argue and certainly not trying to fight, but please, be a little more gentle with your words. It's bad enough already.

it is the middle of Ramadan. During this time of year, Islam states that Muslim people aren't even allowed to use swear words, let alone commit murder. This did not happen because Islam said it should. This killer reportedly got angry when he saw two men kissing once, and that was enough for him to go into a safe haven for the LGBT community and open fire. the fact that he is muslim is going to be used against him throughout this whole case, but really this was an instance of personalized homophobia and the fact that he could easily gain access to an assault weapon is the problem. obviously his religion could have influenced his homophobia, as it does in christianity as well,  but it certainly did not drive him to terrorism.

I'd really love it if she went really grand and bold for her next album with tons of energy. Something along the lines of this -

interesting thing is, if one goes back and reads all the posts when Ultraviolence was released,
so many of the hater Honeymoon crowd, hated Ultraviolence
 
so in a few weeks/months, when the next album is released, expect in about a year or two, all the Honeymoon haters will be saying how great Honeymoon is
and wish the new album were 1/2 as exciting.

Bishop Briggs is a British Alternative singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Bishop was born in London to Scottish parents from Bishopbriggs, Scotland. After secondary school, she settled in Los Angeles. After a performance in a local bar, she recorded her first single in 2015 under the name Bishop, titled "Wild Horses", which was produced by Mark Jackson and Ian Scott. oh yeah, now that I think about it I'm 90% sure that everything she's gonna put on the playlist already has a final version and maybe she's even already decided the track list she's just pretending that they're rough and undecided to give us a false sense of control

i feel like she's made it pretty clear tho that she doesn't want to be a superstar type.. no matter how popular she is .. she obviously doesn't have to be held to any standards except her own..  honestly i feel like you don't take into consideration the huge amount of work she's already done to get to where she is.. in my opinion she probably felt like she was at her pinnacle during the btd/p era.. and now she's sort of just relaxing on basically what could be considered a career honeymoon. She does her work, makes music (which i think at this point is really what she enjoys and cares about), she goes out and does some promo and then some concerts. 
honestly what the fuck do u do?  prolly work some part time job and come home to whack off to scat p*rn and then bitch about how you don't think lana is taking her ICONIC career seriously..  hunty She's been working on this music thing for like basically 10 years at this point.. she's been thru having HUNDREDS of her songs leak (honestly must have been devastating) and LOTS of criticism from the media (which obviously still impacts her today imo considering she made a video like hbtb i think she obviously still thinks about it)  she's worked her lil ass off to get this far DESPITE all of that.plus maybe she didn't even want to be as big of an artist, but was basically pushed into it by her label at first..     leave the lady alone.. she has every right to do what she wants with her career and if thats barely anything then thats fine. 
 
 
 to be fair, I totally understand from a fan aspect, that her being sort of low-key about her career is somewhat disappointing.. but honestly don't lose sight of the fact that she is just a usual person..i honestly don't believe that simply because someone has a successful music career they should be held to an ultra high standard.. you have to take into account she's already done a lot of music work from the beginning of her career untill now.. on top of that she has a personal life and all this other shit too.. let ha live

after seeing a few videos (off to the races and honeymoon for example) i really have to say that it wasn't her best vocal delivery. i hope she works on that till the next festival. but it was nice not to see her smoke on stage.

Also her singing Freak and not going into Art Deco is lowkey a crime
