My 1000th post goes out to Lana: I love you and your music! Never really felt the need to carp about her music. Couldn't be happier to have it in my life. The albums are perfect, at least to me, and I will celebrate her in Warsaw. ~ Be yourself. Perform as much as you can and remember that music should never be about anyone else except yourself. ~

Freedom of speech with all due respect, but if you can't say anything nice or if you couldn't care less about someone's death then it's better to stay away from topics like that. Don't get why people always have to cause trouble...

Do you have a fav already? ------------------------------------------------------------ I spent the whole weekend listening to it and have to say that album doesn't have not even one song on it I wanna skip. They are all really good. As I said before 'Growing Pains' is my fav. Also love 'Wild Horses', 'Silhouette', 'Hear You Calling' - my 2nd fav - totally love the piano here & 'Beating Heart'. 'Unbroken' partly reminds me of 'The Voice Within' by Christina Aguilera. Some passages really sound the same. REALLY looking forward to seeing Birdy in May. Hope she will skip all old songs and will just perform the new ones.

No horror, but almost ... it's a bit like 'Naked Fear'. Really, really good.

Liam just appeared at an unthinkably inconvenient time...she needs to extend her 'milky milky milky tour' at last. And give us that music on CD / Vinyl too.

Yes, I had a front row standing in the middle as I was there 3 hours before entrance. But the piano was on the left and everytime she was on the piano everything I could see was the piano and her forehead & hair. That was kinda disappointing. But when she played guitar and keyboard she was in the middle of the stage (good for me though). Hope you can see her in your country too some day!! ------------------------------------------------------- I think you will have luck too regarding the Deluxe Edition. It seems you will get it at real music stores on its release day. In European markets like Media Markt or Saturn it's listed and will be in stores. I guess only Birdy's online store don't sell it no longer.

Oh, really. Was it a limited edition? Didn't notice when I ordered it. I was really surprised about the live arrangement 2 years ago when I saw her live for the 1st time. I expected a quiet show, but the piano album songs turned out to be rock songs. It was amazing! You can see a little review + photos on my blog 'Birdy Live 2014'. (see signature).

Can't wait to hear the new album too - ordered the deluxe edition - and to see her live again in May.

Wow!

Not sure what to think, the gig itself was really good, but Lissie herself has a super strange attitude. Not that likeable to be honest. She also seemed to be very ungrateful regarding her former record company / music business life - she actually just complained. And her look! Hell, I mean did she just came straight from the jungle? Those armpit hair! Not sure if I would go again, but I can't deny: I LOVE her albums.

Lana makes the impression (to me) that she likes to keep things small and that she's kinda happy with what she has accomplished / achieved - it seems she does not need #1 songs / albums and sold out tours - I guess that is just what others expect from her. People who really love her music surely won't leave her behind just because she doesn't tour that much. And if they do they anyway never really cared... and I agree with @@toshi, Lana does not have a small voice!

I didn't expect the new album would be that quiet... My favs are: Sun Keeps Risin', Together Or Apart and Go For A Walk. I will see her live this Wednesday and really look forward.
