i think the fact that she keeps alot of her life private shows me that most of it isn't a persona. i think she does a lot of the 50's "daddy" stuff and kinky stuff as a persona, but I do believe she lived a life of alcohol and drug abuse (aren't there FB screenshots of drug use proof?), she probably did dance for money, she lived in NY and Jersey which is hella expensive and i don't think she's ever indicated anything other than doing "odd jobs off craigs list" (sounds sketch). and she sings too much about abusive relationships for me to not believe that isn't true. she probably exaggerates to make the music more appealing but i do think most of it is extremely true. as a musician who has to write lyrics - you write what you know, sure you make up stories, but you always put apart of yourself into those stories.

Okay Lana's a great writer but she's not THAT deep. Lol. She writes about cult leaders, nothing new. She's in "the city" NY? Wasn't she in a "cult like" thing in NYC? She could just be referring to that. She could literally be referring to being on heroin and it taking you "away in an aeorplane" from reality. She could have known someone who died from an overdose..didn't she work with people trying to get sober as well? Maybe someone she worked with relapsed. Maybe a friend who she got clean with did? With the blood on the walls etc and "tripping" other drugs involved - we know she did other drugs. I don't know if Heroin makes you trip like that but if it does then it still fits. And frankly...she's sick of it. And she gets on an aeorplane to try and get sober again to show that she can really get better and change.

I still think K is a real person who ended up in jail or died over drugs..or both. like was in jail for a time then died on drugs. K might not even be a part of his name. maybe just a nickname. if he was into drugs..maybe he dealt and they never use real names. anyways, in For K..he mentions a drive by and a double homicide...so duh...guns....I think the song on LFL "Heroin" is about "K". in the background you hear a gun cock.
