  2. But I lost myself

    When I lost you

    But I still got jazz

    When I got those blues

I've been tearing up town in my fucking white gown

    Like a goddamn near sociopath

Shaking my ass is the only thing that's

Got this black narcissist off my back

  3.

For a fucking hot minute this thing popped on my YouTube first page and I thought it was an official upload (the channel have a nice amount of followers\subs too).

Listened again and it's such a simple yet effective song. It's no top-tier-Marina but it feels like... actually GETS it somehow. It's like Enjoy Your Life but better.

The production is not that cheap too.

Lmao I thought that too. I was hoping this song was like INHA, but I loved it anyway. I wish she didn't have scrapped, it could have give some "up" in the album, especially because the production doesn't sound that basic like the rest of Love+Fear.  :( I heard she sold this one?

  4. I was hearing UV yesterday and I felt shame when I noticed that I had completely forgot the existence of Old Money.  :toofloppy: I thought it was The Other Woman next and then I was "Omg, why? OM, my baby, I'm so sorry"

Hehe, I have nothing better to do, I'm gon' come back to the Games session  :toofunny:

  5.

have we ever discussed this blind item?

The three named singer/ingenue has been in contact with the disgraced producer. He wants her to be seen in public with him. The thing is though, he can't offer her money because she has plenty of her own and he really can't offer a movie, so I'm not sure what's in it for her. She is talking to him a lot though, so you never know. At some after party last night she texted him nonstop.

    Lana Del Rey/Harvey Weinstein

obviously she has retired Cola, but was it written before or after this?

About the Harvey, I think Cola was written was during their... thing  :ohno:  :usrsney:  :ohno: . I remember I saw some news at the time this disgusting exposed came out that she originally wrote "Harvey is in the sky", but she changed because he asked? So now is "Ah, he is...", althought I still hear H*****  :awkney2: (this song is ruined for me tbh)

It's allegedly about Courtney Love so we could end up with crackheaded Courtney tweets if Lanz covered it. Heart-Shaped Box, anyone?

Anyway, I just came in here to declare that I'm positively terrified of what Lanz's resolution for 2020 might be, considering that this year's was terrible and things have uh ... detoriorated of late.

    Where's this from?

  6. I hate to agree with the unoriginal and unspired statement. Althought I don't feel this way about all songs, L+F feels mostly basic. I'm talking about Believe In Love, No More Suckers and You, mainly (True a little a bit). They're still nice to hear, but they seem to have been already done before. In general, I kinda like the lyrics (a few meh moments tho). I think the main problem is the production and whole atmosphere they set for this album, it doesn't sound like something new and fresh. Even the album cover, is just so simple. I don't know if that was her intention, keep everything lowkey, basic, but...

Just bring unique and ambitious Marina back asap!

  7. Get Drunk

I heard in a Skins fan vid back in 2013, 2014, I don't remember well. Didn't know it was her at first because I wasn't a fan at the time and I only knew her deep voice from Video Games and Blue Jeans. I would listen almost every night, even thought I felt like it was a guilty pleasure (I was a bit of a hater because of all the backlash and I was heavily influenced by my sister who would mock her). But I started gaining respect for her, especially when the comments would praise and call her queen all the time, which made me think I perhaps misconcepted her.

Anyway this was the video, if the are any Skins fan here lol (I was Ceffy shipper too, althought now I'm just  :um3: ):

  8. Lyrically speaking, I think LFL is her best, it showed a lot of maturity in the way she writes songs.

Hope deserves more. I truly believe it's her most complex song to date.

And unless she comes with something better, Honeymoon will remain as the album that strikes the best concept.

  9. Then she starts to cry

Mascara running down her little Bambi eyes
"Lana, how I hate those guys"

    vs

    Witch Hazel, Witch Hazel
    Betrayal, betrayal
    One gun on the table
    Headshot if you're able

  10. Honestly I like the idea  of the medley. Instead of one song she can perform parts of three songs  and even the part of Black Beauty is magical.

Imagine a medley with Terrence loves you, The blackest day and Swan Song....

I like it too, I really love in fact, I think it's best idea she could have for the tour back in the day. I meaned I wanted her to switch the Change/Black Beauty/Young And Beautiful combo to another combo, like you said with Terrence/The Blackest Day/Swan Song one. You remembered Terrence now lmao, I'm gonna cry. I love that song so much and I wish she would sing more often  :defeated:  :crying4: :defeated:
