I honestly feel like the strength of her newer albums comes more from a lyrical standpoint than production I guess, which I think can be more attributed to Lana than Jack or anyone else she works with. Born to Die, UV, and Honeymoon are all obviously iconic but she’s grown so much as a lyricist since then that’s become more of the focal point of her work. I’m really excited for this album and hope it’s not too wordy or clunky and has some more variety production wise.

the people above r right but also, it's her most recent album so it makes sense to wonder what elements changed/didn't change since her last project.
ppl compared blue banisters to chemtrails, chemtrails to nfr and so on

New threads on masse have not been a problem until recently, but we have noticed certain users creating excessive topics which generate very small discussion or might be percevied as adding little value. We will review and update accordingly. Thanks!

    Amazing list.

Not to put any pressure on whoever’s making the TUOB theme, I’d also like to say I really am looking forward for that and also: do you think it will be made in time for the album release? I think it could be fun to be here on release day with the TUOB theme (personally speaking ofc!).

LB's not big enough for closed registrations tbh it would probs backfire. If the Ocean Blvd theme is made already I do think it should already be up tbh since we're in the Ocean Blvd era rn. The pre-LFL themes being up again would also be cute.

my list of suggestions that no one will use
close registration - open it up a few times a year (new years day, lana's birthday, and if a new album/project is announced) anyone's first post will have to be approved by a mod you cannot post status updates until 20 posts you cannot make a thread until 100 posts the ability for mods to pin comments in threads - this makes it easier to catch up on new info new site themes (i know one is being made for TUOB but past album eras deserve love too) the community representative idea that @Maltese Falcon had (and make the title yellow!) supporters (and community reps if that becomes a real thing) can change their name more quickly & have higher quality PFPs i might add more to this list if more comes to mind

Technically this is already a thing, we have it all the way back until the standard LFL through the Chemtrails theme. However, it would be kind of cool to have the older themes as options, but I don't know how feasible that is or what limitations come with that, so it most likely wouldn't work lol

Hey it's been 2 years since my last post here, I didn't like Blue Banisters that much (first lana album that didn't hit me, I really don't like the way she sings on it!) but I'm loving the snippets so far! Currently listening to 'Grandfather...' again and again even with the horrible TAG

I won't be listening to any leaks. More power to the ones that have. No judgment. Can't blame a fan for wanting to consume the music! So long as you actually purchase the album.

Anyway, I'm so elated for Lana right now, it's a great feeling as a fan to see how celebrated she is right now. To have industry respect, to be surrounded by a bunch of female songwriters, who look up to her, respect her work, and have been inspired to dream by her. She deserves so much more. I know she had some pushback with the word "visionary", and even though at the beginning of her career, she 100% was, deliberately or not, she can also be called a revolutionist. She absolutely is responsible for revitalizing pop music with Born To Die, and even her later albums. The fire, passion and heart she puts into all of her work is finally being acknowledged and praised like it has always deserved it to be.

She really has put her blood, sweat, tears, heart and soul into her music and I'm so happy for her for the moment she is having with this era. Having her authenticity finally validated is so pleasing to me as a stan since 2012. Only someone totally genuine could have done Video Games, Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, and so on. She's completely herself, she's unique, she's mystifying, she's enigmatic, she's thought provoking, she's warm, she's love, she is everything. Her talent and work ethic has spoken for itself. She's still the best to do it right now and is showing no signs of slowing down. I don't think anything could make her if she tried. She is such a creative, talented and beautiful individual. Her music alone, disregarding her as a person, is monumental.

Without her, I really don't know who I would be right now, or what kind of music I would even listen to. She is my favorite artist of all time and I will always be a listener and a fan no matter what. She has touched me so deeply as I know she has to all of you and for that we owe her a debt we could never repay. I feel so lucky and blessed to be alive in this time to be able to consume her creations because they are wonderful and have provided me with so much solace, comfort, and understanding. Her music truly makes me happy and inspires me in so many ways. She is a legend and will go down as one of the greatest artists of all time. To think it's been 11 years, and she's about to release her 10th album is so wild. The consistency, the dedication, to artistry....her legacy will never ever die. Lana Del Fucking Rey
