does this song not remind you of her older music - like OH WELL and LET LOVE DOWN. I kind of wish she had went more this route but i'm still enjoying Joanne for what it is.

Honestly, when you live in SO CAL, it's so easy to see your favorite stars. I mean, i went for a hike in Malibu and we drove by Lana's beach house. We took a pic from the side of the road but it was so surreal to see the location of HBTB in person. but yeah, I'm just lucky my family decided to move to Orange County from Texas before I was born. I'll make a post of the video later - it's so eerie to watch it now.

The Amoeba Records performances were awesome. The LA show was PACKED and the line was soooo long to get in. So I wasn't super close but the San Francisco performance, we happened to get there a few minutes before they were setting up and they invited a few of us to the front - I shot a video of her performing BORN TO DIE - i'll have to post it. It's up on my youtube account.

I think given the team she has now, and where she's at in her life - bringing new life to the sound/vibes from SIRENS would be a nice way for her to show growth. I'm also really keen on that album just because it reminds me so much of JEWEL from the 90s, so i'm bias.

1) Lana gave me a hug, a kiss on the cheek and said I had an infectious smile during a private rehearsal from her promo-tour at the amoeba records in San Francisco 2) i'm a doctor 3) my favorite song is "is this happiness?" i believe the 1 & 3. 2 is self-hate. no one sleeps with anybody for ACID unless you are strung out. are you?

i think it'd be interesting for her to go even more stripped down. I'm thinking SIRENS (yes, i liked the JEWEL vibe she was giving) or dig deeper into the world of trip-hop/pop. I would love to see her do some more movie work with trent reznor and atticus ross. I think it could work with the right songs and tone. I would also love to hear her work with Moby, or even have Moby re-work some of her songs should she ever release a remix album.

OFF TO THE RACES really struck a cord with me but the live performance of VIDEO GAMES was what got me into her. Then i listened to the recorded version and was in love. I love that stark difference from the original recording versus the live performance.
