OK, OK so I need songs with "dead lover" theme in Lana songs for my new playlist :creep: . By far I have found: 1. Dark Paradise 2. Summertime Sadness 3. Body Electric 4. Old Money - I feel like "But if you send for me, you know I'll come" is about a woman waiting for the sign to kill herself to join her dead lover but idk 5. Terrence Loves You 6. Chelsea Hotel No.2 7. Elvis - idk but all this "Elvis, where are you?" sounds sooo desperate 8. Fordham Road - this songs just sounds like weeping in the graveyard for me 9. End of The World - we only have live cover of that song but it sounds like she lost her lover because he died 10. Bel Air - dying and finally meeting her lover also: am I the only one who feels like Lana was married one day? i know it sounds crazy and it's probably her imagination but: "Off to the Races" - "He doesn't mind I have a Las Vegas past" "Yayo" - "Fifties baby doll dress for my 'I do", It only takes two hours to Nevada" "Honeymoon" - obviously "Brite Lites" - "I'm taking off my wedding ring"

for me it's about a poor girl living in trailor park, she meets a bad boy who promises to "save her". she trusts him... but everyone can see it the way they want to - and that's wonderful about art in general

she's one of my favorite poets and women in general. i have read her poems, book and i am going to read her short stories + biography about her and her husband. i own all these books although i it was soooo hard to find them in Poland... :flutter:

stop fighting guys :defeated: i feel bad for bringing up this thread make love not war

alright! so she is not trump supporter... i still don't like her persona but i'll stay quiet as long as i enjoy her music
-
some people listen to her music, i listen to her heart, her soul, her lyrics.. i own her my life, she introduced to me so many amazing artists who then introduced me to other ones... i am who i am today because of lana del rey

:crai: :crai: "my" lana song is "Body Electric" i think... it's not that sad, tho, for me it's the song about madness... about losing yourself in the world of fantasy to the point where there is no escape from it. i was always creating my fictional worlds and felt bad with that and then lana literally came to me and said: "it's alright, i do it too"

tbh i'm not surprised she's a trump supporter but still i am disappointed
-
yeah, i forgot about this one i always have to forget about something important...
-
she's a trump supporter??? i didn't know that honestly... i didn't like her because she was so... i don't want to sound problematic but you know like the perfect product for tumblr - kinda pretentious lyrics perfect for "aesthetic" edits, biracial, bisexual etc... and all her fans praising her like she was some kind of goddess - that's why i didn't like her as i said i started to like her music lately i had no idea she supports Trump ew

"Some Things Last a Long Time" hurts my soul, literally painful... i get very nostalgic and sad, i can barely listen to this song, idk what makes it so haunting... also (it's kinda weird) i always tear up a little when i hear lana in "Video Games" singing: "I've heard that you like the bad girls, honey, is that true?" - i know it's probably not the way i see it but i always feel like there's some good girl singing this to a bad boy, good girl who know that she would never be like the girls he likes and it breaks my heart :icant: also: "Is This Happiness","Yayo", "Pawn Shop Blues", "Junkie Pride" or whatever this song is actually called, "Trash" demo and final version, "Terrence Loves You", "Flipside" :(

at first i hated her idk there is something fake about her... i am now really into her music but i still can't stand her as a person... :defeated:
