Valentines Day by Linkin Park Still one of their best and one of their most underrated. I remember listening to it on repeat when I went on a road trip with my family in 2010 so it makes me think of the Australian Outback and arid zones. The song also paints a picture of a desolate empty landscape so it kinda fit and the jam at the end is so fucking good ugh.. Next letter: C

I'm really late discovering AURA for real (thanks to @ for making a playlist for me <3) but I've noticed The Seed sounds a lot like Handmade Heaven in the verses, like she was directly inspired to make her own version with her own experience. sry if someone has mentioned this b4 Geisha inspired? She's been really into that. Or someone enlighten me with what other cultures could have inspired this.

I haven't really liked ANY of her hair game lately, except in the K-12 teasers. I don't like the parted fringe, and the super tight curls really don't suit her. I'm usually not one to complain about such things cause it's a useless opinion, but when it's bad hair look after bad hair look 10 times in a row I'm like??? But anyway, the rest of her style is great rn

There's not a single song on this album that doesn't deserve love and respect. I have even been adoring DLMBM lately, it's such a treasure. Whenever I hear it I feel like I've opened up a dead women's music box and their ghost is longing to tell the world that she never meant to hurt anyone. This album had the perfect balance of bops, jams, ballads and dreamy songs that open doorways to another world

Honestly, best part was the visuals which reminds me of one of my fave bands EPs that came out early this year I didn't *not* like the song but it didn't blow me away. I'm gonna listen again throughout the day. I'm sure I'll love it. Not opposed to the guys vocals either, but I wonder if I could get into it more if it we're just Banks vibes, idk Edit: I didn't listen again cause I really ain't a fan of any part With Gimme I was like HELL YEAH, that is definitely the direction I'd expect BANKS to go, but with this one it's kinda like... It's very obvious with Marilyn, Sharon Tate, Nancy Sinatra and Priscilla (oh and Dolores Haze). Almost like she was constantly switching between them all back in 2011-2013, but taking the best parts. I remember an old interview when asked what advice she'd give fans and she said "look at how your idols got famous and do that" or SOMETHING like that, I may have wildly twisted her words, I can't remember. As for her actual personality/persona, the quiet, dreamy, inspired type- I think most of that actually came from her shyness once she started getting a lot of attention. The delicate way she spoke and the words she chose were probably her just being careful about what she said because we know she couldn't handle hate very well in the beginning. She talked slower and steadier, like someone who had been conditioned to be polite and only speak with intelligence, which is actually quite reminiscent of ladies in the 50s/60s too lol. Ever since then I don't think she's tried as hard to channel other people. She got noticed, she had her platform, so she decided she didn't have to work as hard to get approval. My bet is, after consulting her friends that are also famous (The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Courtney Love, etc) they really gave it to her about being her absolute self, and that probably helped.

Nearly every single one of my other favourite artists and bands are showing Lana up with releases and talking about their new albums. That is all.

Hope this gives her the recognition she deserves
