Also, if you have spotify and it's updated, they have that function where you can flick through snippets of each song on an album. That would be a faster way of seeing what the vibe of each album is like. Lana often always has a few more upbeat songs and a few very slow songs on her albums, so that spotify thing can help you pick the individual songs you'd like more.

My suggestion would be to play her albums in order while you're driving/commuting, hanging out, doing chores, etc. You'll pretty much pick up the vibe of each album quickly and know which one/s you want to dive into more.
I'd also suggest watching her music videos if you want to do something quicker to check out the singles and visuals.

sometimes i wish i could erase born to die from my memory just so i could listen to it for the first time again so i say go listen to born to die! really cherish that experience bc listening to it for the first time is like losing your virginity

Literally just go through her albums chronologically

personally, i would just listen to the albums in order, i feel like it would be really interesting to see how her artistry has shifted throughout time, it may take it a while to really familiarize yourself with everything, but it's completely worth it  once you've listened to all of her officially released projects and are mostly familiar with them, i would then listen to lana del ray a.k.a lizzy grant (the greatest album of all-time!) and then sirens, there's also young like me, from the end, and no kung fu, she also has literal hundreds of unreleased songs and demos to explore, you'll never be bored again!

I would recommend Honeymoon, but I also think a conscious approach would be to listen to BTD and LFL. These albums set the vectors for the development of her work (in my view of her discography)

Coming to UV and NFR should be spontaneous, like finding a pearl, but this should be a canonical event in everyone's life!!!

OB, Cotcc and BB are dessert for the most sophisticated
However, these albums should not be ignored

When I initially became a fan, she only had BTD and Paradise out alongside her newest hit (and what drew me in) Young and Beautiful .. A lot of unreleased tho and I listened to that.. A LOT.

While it may be unconventional for other artists, Lana has such a plethora of classic unreleased tracks that I’d actually recommend checking them out alongside her released discography. Many of them stand up, or are even better, than their released counterparts.

To be frank, Born to Die is a GREAT starter pack. There is a reason for it to become one of the longest charting album EVER

Lol she trashes the NFR album cover in that interview, which is funny tbh, but she praises that album a lot.
But idk, I can't really keep up with people who do so many backflips like her. I've always liked Courtney from afar, but have been wary not to find out too much about her And I still think she's a toxic friend sorry not sorry

A lot of pop singers can get away with their AI covers sounding good because they all sing the same. Some of them are actually fantastic.
But not Lana. While this Mitski one sounds nice, there's still many moments that sound off. AI covers are cool to "imagine" Lana singing certain songs, but I can't sit there and pretend it's real the whole way through.
But another AI Lana cover I thought was okay was Dream A Litte Dream of Me.

omg I am listening to the podcast and Lana drove Courtney's daughter to Malibu everyday for 90 days when Courtney was detoxing? That is so fucking sweet of her. It baffles me that Courtney would diss her music now.

Also I'm laughing at Lana making her download Hinge

Imagine if Lana heard about this and still had her Twitter account, if she’d start beefing with Courtney and we’d all see it go down in real time and watch Lana win.

All this talk of a white horse. I was a huge taylor fan in her early career and if she showed up in Lanas performance and sang White Horse followed by Lana singing White Mustang

It's definitely not as shallow as "she did a shit cover, now I don't like her", so it's really quite pathetic that she's gone ahead with that narrative. Just like...
My speculation: I think she just did it to make Lana notice. I'm really just quite concerned for Lana because I'm sure Courtney's support felt amazing to her during their friendship, and she probably told Lana something like "your music is so amazing you could never make a bad choice or do a bad song", and now that their friendship is over it's giving me abusive vibes, like it does a full 180 and is probably making Lana feel terrible, and i know what Courtney said is so stupid and unhinged, but it's sure to be a pinpoint aim to make Lana feel like shit and prove to her that it's really over and theres no repair.
I'm sorry, I hate to throw around the word abusive, but thats literally the vibe I'm getting. Maybe a better word is just extremely toxic, but I've had extremely toxic friendships before that did feel abusive so... I know I'm speculating here...
