This ranking thing has actually helped me realise that some of my favourites are just 8's that I relate to a lot, and it takes more for me to rank her songs a 10. A 10 imo needs every element that makes Lana the most legendary- her vocal and emotional effort into the song, the instrumental production, structure of the song (cannot have a weak bridge or weak verses), how "her" the lyrics are. These are the songs I'd reccommend to someone for the full Lana experience at first listen, and I think I only put eight or less at this level.

I agree completely. For instance, I love California and it's always been one of my most anticipated Norman tracks; I relate to it a lot and everything, but the fact that I'd prefer her vocals to be harmonies instead of layers, the first post-chorus to be kept for the second half of the song and the outro to be different already makes it an 8 instead of a 10.

I personally don't think Evan Peter's would be making this season any better haha. Not that it's a bad season but he'd no doubt just get a really bad character again.

I wasn't too mad with Cult. I've been wanting to watch it again.

you can watch them out of order except you must watch Murder House & Coven before Apocalypse (and even then you can get away with not watching them).
 
it's accepted that the first three seasons are the best and that the show went downhill after that, so I'd start with those three. my personal favourite is Coven bc I love witch stuff & stevie (whose music plays a big role the entire season), but the writing is a bit messy (but still very good).
 
Asylum (season 2) is impeccable, objectively the best writing. very tight plot and a good ending which is something no other season has.
 
Murder House is good but boring to me.

Okay I really loved the ending of episode 4. Finally something exciting   and mostly I'm just glad Montana has her lover back lol.

I think you would understand a lot more references if you watched them in order but they're perfectly fine to watch in any order I guess, except for Apocalypse. People generally agree that Asylum was the best one and Hotel is like the least favorite. Stevie Nicks appearances in the series were so minimal honestly, but if you're only interested because of her maybe start with the Coven and see if you like it.

Loved the last episode of 1984, it was crazy

Alright hotties, yesterday I did my first studio recording. It was all improv so there isn't any actual lyrics, mostly scat, if you could even call it that. My mentor is playing piano in it and I had never heard the melody she was playing until I got in the booth so I wasn't sure where it would go, but anyways. Just silly mouth sounds!
