I always thought they would remake the movie so it would fit perfectly for a soundtrack. Well my mind was so ahead of its time that ZAYN and Zhavia did a revamped cover and i dont think it was that bad
 
I cant remember how i pictured the songs but i think i thought she could sample the "Little town, it's a quiet village, Ev'ry day like the one before, Little town full of little people, Waking up to say" in a weird grim-y way, similar to what she did in Wheels on the Bus.

Wow I'm really happy California currently has the most votes, that one came through so hard I was shook and it's my favourite. She really fucking nailed that chorus. Even if I'm not a big fan of "stronger than you really are, faster than my fastest cars" lyrics, the remainder of the song is so good that it erases all that. And I love how she switches up how she sings "you don't ever have to" in the second verse.

I also thought it would be about G-eazy but I sent it cause iwant that loser to stop being an inspiration to her cause he doesn't deserve the recognition. 

Just realized this is the first LDR era where there are no scrapped tracks or songs that have been registered and didn't see the light of day. Which is a lowkey bummer because there is no mystery tracks to look forward too but awesome too because she released everything we know she recorded during the era, if that makes sense hehe. Hopefully the WHF era will follow it's same footsteps..

I find it all really interesting, because I immediately thought of the Prince of Pasta when I saw the images in the glasses.
 
There's the wedding, a couple on the beach at sunset (she and Pasta did such a shoot), and a couple holidaying on a boat or near the sea ... and they holidayed quite a lot in Italy.
 
He is also the creative director of the company that made the video.
 
I would dismiss the images in the glasses as generic but I don't think so.
 
I'm not suggesting anything about her and Pasta; I really don't know what it all means. Maybe the rest of the video will shed some light.
 
I totally thought this song was about G-Eazy because he definitely thinks his poetry is good and I can imagine him being a little bitch and blaming the news, acting like a child, etc.
 
Also there are two slightly different images, one in each lens. I'm sure that means something, too.

i actually don't mind that this one is a homemade video, it suits that day-in-the-life feel that she described. and it's nice to see her in her natural habitat 

I think its gonna be a cohesive story like video?

The only song I honestly don't like is Nurse's Office. I was looking forward to that one the most but it didn't really live up to all the hype imo. All the other tracks are so much better and grew on me a lot from my initial listen. She really didn't hold back on this album at all on some of these songs 

Also I think Strawberry Shortcake, Lunchbox Friends  and OJ have great single potential. But that's three songs in a row from the album...

I'm glad to be able to listen to the songs before the movie. I wouldn't be able to take it or look forward to my favourite ones
