  1. The little single that can't At least tweet about it or post the song on Facebook for god's sake...

    Ellie Goulding

I fell in love with her the first time I heard Starry Eyed and I haven't been able to get up since. She's one of my top 4 artists.
  3. It's one of my guilty pleasures! I listen to it all the time. I think as a whole it is a bit intimidating, but individually the lyrical content and simplistic production can be refreshing. My favorite tracks are Sirens, Westbound, Out With A Bang, A Star For Nick, and my absolute favorite is Aviation.
  4. She's wearing that Big Bird jacket now like she used to wear the K-Mart one...she looks good though.
  5. She looks great! I know she's comfortable performing these tracks but I wish she'd do at least one new Paradise track.
  6. I don't think she's been working with Pamela Cochrane and Johnny BlueEyes recently...she's been doing her own makeup and wearing her own wardrobe with no guidance and it's showing.
  7. Frank Sinatra, and Nancy Sinatra (though she's said it wasn't direct).
  8. The retouching is really not great...she looks like a meth-head with that wrong wrong wrong burning and rehighlighing. But it's cool to see a photo like this get used on a magazine cover I suppose
  9. Holy hell I didn't expect that oh my god (and when the frig did Zachary Quinto turn into Dog the Bounty Hunter???)
  10. All covers by Sam (Trash Magic) and myself. All the organized are in the various separate albums.
  11. FLAWFREE. The editing, the clips, the lipstick, everything is exactly what this song deserved.
  12. Fixed a few errors. I'm 99% sure she says "do the" since she says "do it" in the next line.
  13. A friend sent me Video Games in July 2011 but I didn't really pay attention till I saw her video for it. I knew then that I was in love, seeing as I'd never seen any other artist make references to things I literally grew up on and capture the essence of my childhood so well.

    Django Unchained

It was awesome. Really impressive cereal western honestly.
  15. She looks better than some of the recent looks. I think he looks kinda cute in his cowboy couture aww
  16. STUPID BITCH UGH This'll be the third leg of her hitting the west coast and midwest, and she's only been to the south once. I need to see her again damn it.
  17. She called herself "Siren" on her old Myspace. In the demo of Go-Go Dancer she calls herself "Midnite Dancer Girlfriend" She also has called herself "Queen of disaster"
  18. I've always held the belief that Blue Jeans is just a more specific and detailed take on the same story told in Westbound. Westbound seems to be a tale of K (a known drug dealer at this point) leaving his friends and family. He obviously didn't tell Lana where he was going, and he was probably leaving wherever the hell he was to get away from the law. Blue Jeans, however, gives us a specific take. We obviously know it's about K, and the fact that he leaves to pursue money (drugs). "Then they took you away" is reference to his death/prosecution by the authorities (see - Sirens for detailed version of that story). It's a bit of a stretch but they both seem to be about how K left her unexpectedly to pursue money/escape the law, and with the story told in Sirens that echoes in Blue Jeans, it sure seems like Westbound might well be about K, however generic it is.
  19. It IS the second demo...with some added beats and a few filters...it's awful in comparison to the Summertime Sadness radio mix to be honest. I'll be really disappointed if UMG actually goes through with this as a release. It's a waste of promo that could be used on any song from Paradise.
  20. Ride is the most compelling and powerful thing she's ever put out. It got my vote.
  21. Yayo was terrible to me at first but now I love it. It's much more raw and unrefined than the previous 4 versions we have. I went with Gods & Monsters. The way she says "singer" in it alone just agitates me for some reason.
  22. She's serving serious Kiki's Delivery Service with that shot. I'm glad she's branching out in her shoots a bit more. I hate the way Mariano Vivanco retouches but it looks pretty good compared to his previous disasters.
  23. I won't believe it until an official press site posts a release about it. Though it would be nice to have a video, it would be stupid and ineffiecent to waste promo on a song from Born to Die at this point. Her label wouldn't probably let her do such a thing, because it wouldn't market Paradise like Cola would.
