I'm Stalker Sarah and I have the same face in all the celebrities photos I stalk:
 

we should all follow stalker Sarah. She will lead us to Lana with her stalker ways and faro. But we have to go together she creeps me a little. Is a knife hidden under that jacket honey??

I think it started because it was leaked as "Nevada Master Ref 1" or something like that, I'm not really sure.

This is interesting. I've read two opposing theories on this. Some do look at it as an artist competing with themselves when they have two products out at once, meaning that one is taking sales/promotion away from the other. Others say that the two products only help each other out and promote each other. My thinking is that with the way the internet and blogs are, there's probably no way that one source would mention one of the records without mentioning the other, so it's free promo right there.
 
I guess another factor would be how close to each other the release date is. I remember in 2002 Tom Waits releasing two new albums (Blood Money and Alice) on the same day. I've seen other artists release two albums two weeks to about two months from each other. There was a big fuss about Radiohead releasing Kid A and Amnesiac only 8 months apart from each other. I imagine that how far apart the release dates are would affect things differently, if it even affects things at all.
 
But there's also the fact that sometimes an artist can have two albums out at once, yet each has their distinct market/audience, even though it's the same artist. That may be the case with Lana Del Rey and the AKA album. Either way, i think it's moot because if the album were to be rereleased, i can't imagine it would happen in the next few months, by which time it would no longer be competing against TPE in any significant way.

This is her DEBUT album that they're ruining here by leaking demos for it.
 
I know a guy who wanted to leak the You (Ha Ha Ha) demo before it was even released. 
It's fucking criminal.
Can't even let her have a clean SINGLE release.

256 kbps mp3 quality with lots of surface noise from (probably) low grade vinyl that will probably already come slightly warped and have a lot of anomalies

Yeah, i remember that. We had talked about that on the old forum and we discovered that in order to purchase it, the buyer had to have a French address, and we never found someone from France to buy it, so it was just eventually forgotten. What's really noteworthy about this though is that that site was claiming to have the option to get it in lossless...
 
Anyone remember that site? Because we have a good amount of French people on here now that might be willing to purchase it in (maybe) lossless.

In the part where it says "Purchased from Napster," it's not a tag I can remove on iTunes. When I click "Get Info" on iTunes, it says the comment box is empty, so I believe it's some sort of information that comes with the files themselves. (I'm just supposing.)

In all honesty, I don't know much about the Napster purchase. I can't seem to remember where I found the link to the files I have nowadays, but they showed significant higher quality than the files I had before. Take a look:

I am sending you a PM with a link I found. It has most of her unreleased stuff, except for demos. It includes some snippets too which have fake titles because people don't know the real ones.
 
Just note that "Boys" is "Too Many Boys," "Catch Me If You Can" is "Catch Me If U Can" and "My Space" isn't by Sky.
 
 
Listen to it and you may love it! I see some people think the EP is a grower.

What do you know about this Napster purchase? I've never heard anything about that. 
 
By the way, i downloaded AKA in 256 (encoded with LAME 3.91) from Soulseek sometime in late 2011, and i strongly believe that it was all sourced from the same source, but i don't know what the source is, and jeez, how many times can you say the word source in the same sentence? 
 
 
This is true, but   don't tell people here that--they'd rather maintain uniformity of file types in their iTunes than have better sounding files.  

If she'd posted Miss America (which is labeled as Trash Magic in other place, no?) on her Myspace at one point, why was she surprised that someone uploaded it on YT? Besides the obvious that she forgot she sent it to somebody...

I did a lot of digging today and finally managed to find a lot of interesting things that we didn't know about the May jailer- Lizzy Grant days from the old Myspace. It would be great if you guys appreciate this, it took forever to put together, haha. Most of this is information taken from pictures, they'll be at the end, and the picture containing whatever information will have the picture number next to it in parentheses except performance dates, there are way too many to put with pictures, ask if you need the pictures for the performance dates and I'll PM them. The pictures are out of order by date though. It's all between 2006 and 2010.

It never happened but the original 256 Kbps files leaked over the summer and it was a noticeable quality difference

The one I want most is Sky's though, I can't believe I have been waiting for it for nearly three years now and that it has been delayed four times. Such a pity because I know it will be awesome when released.

Bloodshy & Avant are so good, they're awesome producers! I hope they work with Britney again.
 
And I think will.i.am did a nice job with Britney. "Scream & Shout" played so much in the UK when I was there, and the song is great in my opinion.
