  1. i think she meant that she's not going to sing about that kind of stuff because she doesn't do it not that other people shouldn't be singing about it. that's kinda obvious though, i don't see the need for her to point that out tbh

neither do i. i mean of all the people she chose lana? lol i'm not hating i still like lorde, but you know there are other ways to advertise yourself other than attacking (not really attacking, but it isn't really compliments) other artists.

  2. “What really got me is this ridiculous, unrelatable, unattainable opulence that runs throughout. Lana Del Rey is always singing about being in the Hamptons or driving her Bugatti Veyron or whatever, and at the time, me and my friends were at some house party worrying how to get home because we couldn’t afford a cab.

SO what? just because you couldn't afford something, doesn't mean the whole world should just stop spending their own money and start donating to you. lana didn't write that to be like, oh hey let me rub it in poor peoples faces, didn't write that to laugh at other peoples faces. its obvious she's just trying to relate to some folks and sorta start shit for her new album.

Didn't she say somewhere she was a fan of Lana though? why the sudden change?

((((i do not mean to be disrespectful))))

also, no need to be bitter about other peoples fortunes. she needs to accept that not everybody is like everybody.

How did I miss this thread? :wat:

I love, love, love some of the first album...'Bratty B' especially is just perfect.

However, their iTunes Session version of 'Over the Ocean' is probably my favourite song of theirs...her live vocals are really incredible!

Another big reason I like them is because of how much they are directly influenced by Rilo Kiley. Bethany has actually specifically mentioned how much she was moved by the song 'Jenny, You're Barely Alive', which I myself absolutely adore. :flutter:

Bratty B's my all time favorite!!! Did you hear Sunny Adventure? It's on their soundcloud it's reallyyyy gr8 listen to it

oh wait lmao i already posted it

    where is this gif from?

and idk but ive never been scared of horror movies, like i get scared while watching the movie but only mildly, but i do enjoy horror movies since they are my favorite genre, and i also love psychological horror movies which tell you shit, meaning leaving everything to the imagination which is even worse, i have to say i didnt really like insidious, i found it rather annoying, even though the red demon did creep me out a few times.

if you want true horror, go back 20 years. the exorcist was creepy as FUCK i tried watching it like what, 6 times? i finally got myself to watch it though, pretty creepy and hard to watch tbh, but not as bad as youd think

in the third one, the part at the very end where

the guy runs to some kind of garden house and there's like 15 people and they start following him  :rip:  :icant:

ughhhhh the third ones my favorite ending evveerrrrrr i love how creepy the gramma was like hoollyyy shiiitttt she started all of it

  5. Yasss love books. Although I guess my collection is embarrassing if you consider that I'm trying to get a degree in English/writing because the spines are all very colorful and mostly I gravitate toward the ~poignant young adult book~ (John Green is the beeeeeest)

Here's where I store all the series I collected in middle/early high school that I'm not really into but can't bear to part with:

LMAO you can also see how childish my room is. Those wooden vehicles are a similar result of hoarding past memories and good times with my mom, there's a fake menorah just bc, Halloween decor, puppy birthday banner (my 17th birthday double lmao)

Also the only reason I kept those Twilight books is because they were a gift when I was reeeeealllllly into it and a super expensive boxset

Second shelf used to be full as well and also under my bed but I had a big cleanout earlier this year because my room is tiny and I'm pressed for space.

diaries of a hoarding lana fan.  :brows3:

  6. i used to watch this show almost whenever it was on tv, never really got into it until one day i saw the season 2 finale, and i remember i needed to watch that show, and then during summer 2008 i was in switzerland and i bought the 3rd and 4th season and watched so many of it and kept eating those toaster waffles except i didnt toast them and i also watched that one episode of supernatural and got ultra scared and the oc comforted me when i couldnt sleep/was scared shitless at 2 am when every one was asleep. whenever i listen to running up that hill i just remember how good that vacation was and how the show gave the vacation a cherry on top.

  7. I used to have a bible to read just for fun, but my friends used it to roll joints  If there is such thing as heaven, I'm not gaining entrance.
