I don't wanna sound rude because i obviously don't know anything about their relationship, but i can easily imagine that Lana didn't tell Barrie clearly about the break-up. I mean, sometimes she seems so indecisive, and we already know that she isn't always honest at interviews. Maybe she commits these mistakes in her private life too.

i've read it...and in another thread we've been discussing this topic and some people said that she made up a bunch of stories and that it was hard to decide what was true and what was made up. i agree and i obviously don't know the truth, that's why i used this font.

I think he went solo from his band for a while + I don't think Barrie is delusional or anything, Lana just sounds like a compulsive liar... She said they're on a break and haven't seen eachother for months but we have pictures of them together more recently. I also don't agree with Lana talking about their relationship as publicly when there is an obvious miscommunication between them.

I find it funny that Lana sings that she lives for her man and would give anything up for their love, plays the fragile submissive girl... and in real life her boyfriend seemed to take up this role.
Does anyone think Cruel World and Is This Happiness were written about their relationship?

Well I know little about Barry but this guy made his biggest mistake by getting together with Lana and especially moving with her in LA. He left his band and career behind for becoming practically Lana's wife? I don't think that he has an income, I don't know what is he doing with his music. From little that I heard from him he is quite talented. He needs to forget Lana quickly and get on his feet because that TMZ video wasn't a pretty sight. Go back Barry to Glasgow, let her fuck around with any cute boy that she meets and forget her messy ass.

I really don't think that they're 'broken up' and I really don't think that Barrie is in denial. They really are probably just taking a break (and that's not me being in denial either). They seemed really good for each other.

Probably explains why Barrie's been MIA with his music, too; he was so enthusiastic with sharing his music and now he hasn't updated his page in a month. I'm feeling for both of them. Sounds like this has all been going on for a while. Hope Barrie can jump back on the horse soon, and I hope Lana's in a good place.

Getting hate for spitting in his neighbours face and threatening to kill him, spitting on fans, skipping many concerts/cutting them short for no valid reason, assaulting DJ Woods, vandalising in Rio, egging a neighbour, arrested for a DUI & driving with a suspended license, verbally abusing a flight attendant, making extremely racist remarks amongst a whole other slew of things including just being an annoying and self-entitled brat

I don't get people who get excited about relationships ending. It's never fun, regardless of who it is or if it is for the better.

On a side note, I find it interesting how the album starts off with the lyrics "Shared my body and my mind with you" and ends with "Will spend her life alone, Alone" (from "The Other Woman" the way she envisioned it.) 

I really loved them together.
