to whoever posted this, the last 3 second snippet (3:58-4:01) is a cover of Tamaryn's "Hands all over Me". Is that really how much she shared of it? Such a great song. If it exists, I hope we ever get to listen to the full thing.
(BTW, Tamaryn wrote most of the songs from Masochism, Jorge produced them, so this record will be basically a Tamaryn record sung by Sky)

As to people recommending Hatchie, yeah, she's fucking amazing, and has her own patreon where she shares covers and demos and also premieres stuff in advance (music videos, singles, etc).

And to people saying Hatchie is stealing her sound... You can check her previous releases, she is so fucking talented Robin from Cocteau Twins remixed Sure, and Jorge Elbrecht offered to HELP her produce this album (Giving the World Away). The album was mainly written and produced by her and her husband, and then when proposed to her label (Secretly Canadian) Dan Nigro and Jorge liked it so much they wanted to step in. The girl is crazy talented and references particular sounds from different eras in such a perfect mix... She's amazing. I really do recommend you all to give her a listen. My favorite songs are Sure, Stay With Me, Without a Blush, Quicksand, Lights On, Don't Leave me in the Rain, The Key and Til we run out of air.

Also her covers are fucking fantastic

I still feel Something was their best work. Don't get me wrong, the polish in Moth was IT. but Something came after high expectations from "mainstream" fans who literally found out about them due to the iPod commercial, and a rioting "indie" scene who criticized them for doing so (what I find completely ridiculous, it doesn't make you a good fan or true music savvy to not want commercial success for anyone, it's just plain toxic). Also, Aaron had left the band after a lot of drama.
The producers they worked with are IT. Jorge Elbrecht, Dan Carey, Josh Ascalon... And also, it was the very first time Caroline had a more active role besides vocals and keyboards, and Patrick producing.

My favorite tracks are the more unconventional ones, where you really feel Cocteau Twins, Bjork and Air influences (like Turning, Amanaemonesia and Peculiar Paradise).

I feel really heartbroken for their breakup. I even found out they came as MGMT's support band some time to my country and I didn't even know them at that time.

I wish they could delete our memories of their identities and still release iamamiwhoami stuff. Those days were amazing. Their production is ageless

But I feel I've got no power over it. Do you choose what you like or how much you like it? That's what I was trying to say all along.

If I could choose my way of feeling believe me so many things would be different in my life!

There are some things you enjoy in your intimacy and privacy and some others you don't seem to enjoy when you share them, others that you might enjoy whatever the situation.
I'm trying to express what happens the most accurately so you get to understand. It's not like I choose what happens to me. I don't see music as a possession, I don't believe or think it is. It's just the feeling at the reception of it changes whenever it's overplayed, massplayed, or played at the "wrong" moment.

How braindead is this? Aren't you able to think with your head?
If only a small amount of these efforts in calling out missteps were given to fight the real racists, homophobes, transphobes... The thing is racism is systemic, nobody's morally superior, we all got the stink on us and this has become a race in moral superiority. And I just don't understand why most of these cancelings are directed towards allies who are clearly in good faith. One thing is to educate someone, Who May have perpetuated a bad behaviour out of sheer ignorance or stupidity and teaching them the errors of their way. The other is canceling people Who are clearly not racist and isolate the community more and more. Look what they did to Lindsay Ellis or EVEN Contrapoints.

No one actually cares about racism, this is just gen z/millennial performative mess. most people in real life would be “cancelled”-it happened four years ago and an apology was issued.

I don’t even care for Caroline but jeez.

It's so crazy to find so much people who I share the same feelings with here: Relentlessly craving these songs 10+ years ago and today waking up to them, of course with sprouting feelings but my reaction to them has been 180 different to what it would had been back then.

I know right? First it was going to be a Pang rejects EP, then an LP, now it seems a completely brand new album, then BiaR came out, and we still don't have any new songs
