  1. Incredible song, I don't hear a similarity at all though I wish this got a studio version
  2. I honestly wish she would stop reading this thread and many others, got off the internet and focused (and trusted) the amazing team of people she's so lucky to be working with. She got extremely anal about the video and visuals (that she's still trying to save after 10 years of expectations and promises) and it's so embarrassing at this point cause the more she pushes it, the more she builds chances of disappointment up. Anyways, single IS coming today, no B-side, no ep or album announcement. As for full credits: ISRC: USUM72201003 Genre: Pop Instrumentalist: Eduardo Ribeiro, Jeremy Vuernick, Steve Cook Lyricist: Jorge Elbrecht, Tamaryn Brown, Sky Ferreira Producer: Jorge Elbrecht, Tamaryn Brown, Sky Ferreira Mixing/Engineer: Jorge Elbrecht Mastering/Engineer: Heba Kadry Studio: Heba Kadry, Jorge Elbrecht
  3. I feel it's pointless to compare cause every album was released at a different point of the revelation of their identities. I think what made this project extremely magical was the intrigue behind the idea of "you don't need an identity/to be famous to create art" and ofc the clever idea of (which I'm not sure if it was premeditated or not) being associated with so many big names back then. People debating if it was xtina, or gaga, or goldfrapp, or bjork, etc etc was such good promo on its own. bounty had that magic of them being completely and utterly unknown so that gave them boundless creative freedom. kin came with all the expectations built after bounty+their identities revealed to some, so for me kin is their greatest work as of yet cause it had a LOT of pressure to be good, and it was not only good but incredible, having the songs follow one same unique dark electronic sound while every song still sounding incomparable to one another. In my opinion, it's the most cohesive of all the albums (not saying that's a good or bad thing) so as a body of work it's incredible. BLUE had a lot of connection to the fans and kind of was a result of their direct support and input, and also it's hard to release a 3rd good album after 2 incredible albums+hype starting to die, identities fully revealed, etc. KRONOLOGI was a really smart move, cause there wasn't any need of further work, it's a compilation of things that didn't fit here or there. I love artists who do these kind of releases, as I love artists who have their patreon where they release demos, unreleased and covers. This album unfortunately is not having me head over heels yet, but I won't judge until the full thing has come out and I've fully took it in. Lyrically, all their albums are incredible. Musically, everyone will have their own preference. But there's no denying iamamiwhoami is a pure statement about making good art being fully in the hands of the artist.

It hasn't leaked, a lot of people are asuming this due to people scrobbling it. The album has been ready for release since early 2020, of course she stalled it due to the pandemic. A lot of people have "acquired" it very, VERY early on (1-2 years ago). I'm honestly glad it hasn't leaked cause it shows how much respect her fans have for her. The "final version" of it is honestly no different. Great album, the closest album to this is I Never Learn, and imo the best songs are Highway to your Heart, Carousel and 5D. The rest are a bit repetitive but good too.
  5. EP (that was supposed to be released in January) was shelved and she moved on to working on an album instead, most likely using all/most songs from the EP Pang was released in October so it's most likely she'll release it by then (since also she has a brief break between performances/festivals around that time). I just hope she releases a single soon but I trust her
  6. For the impatient, the trustful and the nonbelievers, this playlist has over 200 songs. Besides her solo career, Chairlift and side projects, everything that she has ever been involved in, be it songwriting, production, backing vocals, features, collabs and/or remixes https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2nZpd0YOmKSYvNyyMTMg0k In chronological order. Whatever is missing from it, is not in spotify. Whoever is interested in learning more about her over 15 year long career, can join the discord where there's a discography channel with the rest of her releases that are not avail on spoti, and her videography too. https://discord.gg/9UPsTs9 You're all more than invited to join and discuss her and much more until she finally releases the rest of the album. BTW, trust her, she knows what she's doing. She knows how to create anticipation, she's a really hard worker who's more than glad to provide input for various projects (hello, minions OST) and has no prejudice. Caroline really is one of the most talented artists currently out there from the last generations.
  7. Finally DF is available for everyone... I can finally share how It totally reminds me of Hands All Over Me, she must *REALLY* love that song Just like it, the rest of the album has been created by really talented people, I hope she doesn't keep delaying it
  8. Anyways, do what you will with facts and information that are out there for you to grab, I don't even have anything to do with this. I'm as (or who knows if more) excited as all of you for this music cause it's written and produced by two of my favorites. So ofc I want it to be released and I'm extremely happy for it to come out.
  9. I'm not comparing her, neither talking about other artists that have others prepare or coach the music for them... I'm particularly talking about Sky's trying to convince people she's behind everything while she's not. Also some nerve to compare this conflicted child with two figures that established themselves in the industry. Although I'm not familiar with Britney or Rihanna's work, I do recall Britney on a random interview saying (proudly) she worked with x and y, and that z was writing songs for her. It's not the method. It's the not acknowledging it, or herself trying to prove she's doing things she's not. Do you think she wrote or produced a single thing on any of the leaked stuff? Or the released stuff (which you can actually access the credits)? Your username is a title of a song Tamaryn wrote 100% so I find it funny you're telling me to shut up.
  10. As everything related to her, idk if we'll ever get the "true story" out of things, but her side is so convoluted idk... She must have some sort of input in her music, I'd love to believe, but it's not a big one. Remember changin one word, even if it's just in the order, counts as "co-writing" in music industry, so she can pretty much take stuff made for her and just record coached vocals over it.
  11. Yeah, this is one of the main reasons a lot of deep rooted fans stopped stanning her. She claims she's main writer of everything she does, while it's been strongly proven otherwise by some of the original bands/artists' demos of her songs surfacing, showing that she only recorded vocals to something that had been already created for her (like Guardian or Everything is Embarrassing). If she only said "I co-wrote", it'd be ok, but she claims she's complete author of her stuff AND even gets angry when people are credited for her music, AND also toots her own horn and cries "rip off" when anybody remotely looks or sounds like her (like what happened with nasty cherry) so it's all so problematic. She is either lucky or wealthy enough to work with really amazing artists that produce and write things for her, and even is so spoiled to sit on her music and blame the label (which doesn't win shit out of shelving or sitting on stuff they already payed for to be produced and recorded). It's just all so problematic and conflicted, we see a shit ton of emerging artists who don't have half the issues she has, I literally wish her the best cause the end product I enjoy, but I hope someday she comes clean about stuff, owes her shit, and explains this situation. Cause the label fairytale is just not working anymore. And people who still believe it literally have no idea about how the music industry works. (Not that I'm a savy, but it's literally nonsensical at this point)
  12. Sure, an album that's "taking more than 10 years" which isn't even done by her, just has her record vocals over handcrafted music coached for her. Don't get me wrong, I wish Sky the best (I wouldn't be replying on this dumpster shit if not), but Hatchie at least can play instruments, sing beautifully live and be working with great talented people who don't DO THINGS FOR her, but collaborate, and is also at the beginning of her career having no conflicts whatsoever or lying to anyone, plus releasing new content monthly in her patreon... And where is Sky? Still swearing everyone else is to blame but herself? The comparissons are bound to happen because the same producer's behind both projects, but yeah, Hatchie's an artist and Sky is just a cool singer with good taste.
  13. https://dbree.org/v/506263 to whoever posted this, the last 3 second snippet (3:58-4:01) is a cover of Tamaryn's "Hands all over Me". Is that really how much she shared of it? Such a great song. If it exists, I hope we ever get to listen to the full thing. (BTW, Tamaryn wrote most of the songs from Masochism, Jorge produced them, so this record will be basically a Tamaryn record sung by Sky) As to people recommending Hatchie, yeah, she's fucking amazing, and has her own patreon where she shares covers and demos and also premieres stuff in advance (music videos, singles, etc). https://www.patreon.com/hatchie And to people saying Hatchie is stealing her sound... You can check her previous releases, she is so fucking talented Robin from Cocteau Twins remixed Sure, and Jorge Elbrecht offered to HELP her produce this album (Giving the World Away). The album was mainly written and produced by her and her husband, and then when proposed to her label (Secretly Canadian) Dan Nigro and Jorge liked it so much they wanted to step in. The girl is crazy talented and references particular sounds from different eras in such a perfect mix... She's amazing. I really do recommend you all to give her a listen. My favorite songs are Sure, Stay With Me, Without a Blush, Quicksand, Lights On, Don't Leave me in the Rain, The Key and Til we run out of air. Also her covers are fucking fantastic

It's so crazy to find so much people who I share the same feelings with here: Relentlessly craving these songs 10+ years ago and today waking up to them, of course with sprouting feelings but my reaction to them has been 180 different to what it would had been back then.
  15. This is beautiful, get her Jade. Anyways, congrats to our kween for so many nice things happening, Heart is Unbreaking minitour turned into a real tour, been super succesful, she's been mentioned and posted and shared by other artists, New Shapes, Dua choosing her as opener, BiaR being P4k n1 (I don't like p4k but promo is promo) and now the gta radio thing
