Sometimes I regret reading so much into these things, bc anything could be Bartender so long as she doesn't say anything about it. I definitely liked the meter and tempo of the intros she's been lacing in before WM, but I was hoping for something more, solid instead of ribbons of phrases. I mean maybe she's testing the track or it's just the tour atmosphere, but I'd like to think she sounded a bit more certain when she sang of it (if it even is). Plain and simple, is it even finished, the track?

Does it matter if a song exists if no one's ever heard it before. Is life as beautiful w/o Life is Beautiful?

Don't make me regret this but. I've been looking more into songs from musicals since the Evita cover and came across this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6I2mOrfLiBQ The sweet sound of the head notes, the longing, the sincerity, the key change at the end. *I know the second chorus gets a bit steely like um wow (I cringed at the 2:30 mark too trust ) so I off'd that but I feel like the song would fit Lana's voice well with her soaring high head notes. Adjust the bridge a bit to make it less hectic and to create more of a gradual momentum, and you have something that'd make someone grown cry. I found the easiest to listen to of covers so have a go

I was listening to American today, driving back home. The opening lines reminded me of my grandparents house, and the home in the Shades of Cool video, with the rock wall, the wooden overtones, the tiled floors and white fur rug and wide ceiling to floor windows. The smell of cigarette smokes. I'd always imagine it back to when the song starts Play house, put your favorite record on get down,get your crystal method on You were like tall, tan, driving round the city flirting with the girls cause you're so pretty

I loved how Twilight Zone the LFL album trailer was tho. It was charming in that way, im not gon look back on it bc it turned out to b a great record tho, so there's that. An Ep in the summer would b the best
