  1. God I wonder what Candy Necklace's true meaning is meant to be. I wish this was one of the songs she actually explained in interviews... to me, it seems to be a fucked up relationship that she knows is falling apart and tearing her down because the guy is so reckless, yet, this is also something that she loves about him. She knows it's immature to be acting so wild and yet she can't help but be into it... thus the song ends with no resolution. Just her and the guy repeating "Candy Necklaces." The thing that is both making her suicidal and in love.
  2. She said it herself on ig, the reviews aren't supposed to be good! This is NFR, if NFR had imperfections and cracks because THAT'S HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN (tm) the girls who get it, get it and the girls who don't, DON'T. The first half of the album is her spilling her guts out about her fear of dying alone, being forgotten, losing her family, losing at love, finding herself to be the AMERICAN WHORE at 33 over wacky piano ballads and trippy interludes. She knew this was going to be too much for the basic BITCHES of Slant magazine or whatever... so as a result, the closing act of the album has her embracing her confidence, feeling sexy, addressing concerns that she was manufactured by a team, and finally reminds them that she knows they hate her. Anyway, all this to say an 80 on MC is excellent critical acclaim iktr
  3. Jon Batiste Interlude feels like it's the audio version of that creepy as fuck Convenience Store scene from Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me and I am completely here for it... the fucking TALENT omg
  4. Good lord I just want to say Kintsugi is def. my least favorite track next to Sweet. Extremely boring instrumental idk what she was thinking putting it next to Fingertips
  5. The way Fingertips just randomly clicked for me?? Last time I heard it I wasn't feeling it at ALL. Maybe I wasn't depressed enough..
  6. Not y'all attacking someone's looks while hiding behind a screen 💀💀 probably serving hairless rat
  7. So it seems Ian Kirkpatrick produced Dua's New Rules. BOZ appears to be a huge Dua Lipa stan... if that's the Ian Lana was working with, BOZ's orgasm would make a lot of sense
